Janice, I was looking over the books I've read and I found a discrepancy. Messages 40 and 42 both show a report for book 9. And I didn't put the information from Message 42 on my list for Badge 1 in Message 9.Would you double-check your spreadsheet, please?
That is weird! I don't show Christmas Belles on the spreadsheet at all. For anyone. Yet, there's something niggling away in my memory about that title. The easiest way to fix it is to call it Badge 2, Book 2 and I've added it as such.

I never read any of the Hardy Boy books when I was a kid. They were for boys. The girls had Nancy Drew. *rolls eyes*.
For a different reading challenge, I needed a book with two related males on the cover. I went through all my books and only found one. I wasn't interested in re-reading it. Then I thought of the Hardy Boys books. The two brothers would most likely be on the covers. When I saw that my library had a Hardy Boys book with an elephant on the cover, I thought, "Bingo!" The Nancy Drew books are what got me started reading voraciously. When I was in 8th grade, my best friend and I had a race to see who could read all the Nancy Drew books that our school library had. I won :)
That sounds like a tough challenge task - two related males on the cover. I suspect that The Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew make good challenge choices. I keep wanting to reread one of the Nancy Drew books (I'm sure I've read most of them). I should give the Hardy Boys a try.
Janice wrote: "I never read any of the Hardy Boy books when I was a kid. They were for boys. The girls had Nancy Drew. *rolls eyes*."LOL! I was told the same thing, but I still wanted to read them. I had moved onto science fiction by eighth grade though, so the brothers were left behind. I did read the Boy Scout Handbook though.

Dorian Gray was a "character" in The Sinister Mystery of the Mesmerizing Girl. He was definitely not the character he is in the book. He talked about Wilde in one of the conversations with a couple of the girls.

Hahaha, I love the title. I am adding this one to my spreadsheet as a back-up. The only title that I found was Sky Burial: An Epic Love Story of Tibet
And look - the paperback cover has a yak with horns!
Cherie wrote: "Hahaha, I love the title. I am adding this one to my spreadsheet as a back-up..."Isn't that a great title? And the story was so much fun! The narrator did a great job. I was grinning a lot during the book. I'm trying to figure out ways to fit the next three books of the series into spots in this challenge.
Cherie wrote: "The only title that I found was Sky Burial: An Epic Love Story of Tibet"The first book that I thought of for Tibet was Lost Horizon.
You are so awesome, Lanelle! I have Lost Horizon on my TBR list. I wonder why it never came up in any of my googling? Thank you so much!
