Highlighting text

If you'd like to see your text in bold or in italics or both , here's how.


1. Bold
To make things bold, type the following before and after your message. (I've added unnecessary spaces in order for you to see the illustration.)

< b > your message < / b >

Eliminate the spaces and it will look like this if you've done this correctly:
your message


2. Italics
To make things italic, follow the same instructions above but replace the letter b with the letter i.

< i > your message < / i >

If done correctly, it will look like this after eliminating the spaces:
your message


3. Bold and Italicized
To make things italicized and bold , use the following format before and after your message:
< i > < b > your message < / b > < / i >

Don't forget to eliminate all spaces! If done correctly, it will look like this:

your message


4. Additional highlights
Replace the letters in the above formats with:

An s if you'd like to strike through the text. your message
A u if you'd like to underline the text. your message
