Such Sweet Possession: The Life and Loves of Anne Lister
Or, as listed on Amazon: Such Sweet Possession: The Life and Loves of “Gentleman Jack”: Anne Lister: A BBC Radio 4 dramatisation
A dramatization = NAB. Easy. Except...this from dramatization author Mary Cooper's website: Helena Whitbread decoded and published the diaries as two works, Volume I, I Know My Own Heart and Volume II, No Priest But Love.
So it's an adaptation. A dramatization adaptation. Of two volumes that have both been published under more than one name.
I've searched the discussion groups for a definitive answer on whether radio dramatizations are considered books under GR protocol. If I understand correctly, if the dramatization is of a published written work, it is seen as no different (to GR) from an audiobook with multiple narrators. That is, yes, it qualifies to be added.
If, however, the dramatization is not from a published written work, it does not qualify to be added and should be NABed.
Am I correct so far?
This audiobook isn't as clear-cut. The work being dramatized is not the published book. It is a 10-part drama series that is an adaptation of a 2-volume published written work.
To which group does a dramatization that is an adaptation of written work[s] belong: "yes it qualifies" or "no it does not qualify?"
