Sheryl Tribble | 57 comments A number of the reviews say this book is confusing for someone who hasn't read the trilogy it's connected to; any comments on that?

SoC is supposed to be the first of a trilogy, and therefore it should be able to stand alone. As it is set in the same world as her Grisha books, I wouldn't be surprised if she has included a few easter eggs for those who've read her earlier works.
But confusing? I hope not.

Clyde (wishamc) | 228 comments OK. I am done. Didn't enjoy this as much as I had hoped.

The audio was quite well done.
