Francisco Andrade This six weeks I decided to read a biography titled Beneath the Surface. Beneath the Surface is about the whales in captivity in the amusement parks of sea world. I choose to read this book because it caught my attention by the name and by the picture on the cover of the book. I go to sea world every year so I thought it would also be very interesting to know about one of my favorite park to visit every year.  After I read the book I thought it was very interesting, I have a whole different opinion about the parks but I still love to go there but I feel terrible for the suffering whales now that have more information about their diets, space they need and more key information everyone should know. Beneath the Surface focused on the negative side of holding whales in captivity and later went on by their recent and past deaths relating to a whale killing and or eating a human. Sea world had and has a lot of those so they went on by talking about sea worlds most recent deaths. They described what happened in the scene and how it all went down from a happy day at sea world to a traumatizing event at sea world. I would recommend this book to anyone who is against whale captivity and who does not like the idea of what sea world does with their whales and how they treat them. Also this book is meant for people who like biographies.
