The Sixth Extinction: An Unnatural History This is on my list to read, but I'm not sure if it focuses just on climate change.
Also this, with the same caveat: Scatter, Adapt, and Remember: How Humans Will Survive a Mass Extinction

Sure! Sounds like a good starting point. Is there a reason you're leaning toward the teen edition over the regular one? I have heard it's pretty accessible.

I just finished this book, and highly recommend it. Climate Fiction but it draws from the science and takes us to 2099. Really a page-turner: The Hurricane CodeThe author has written historical fiction with an environmental edge
but I believe this is first one which is fully climate fiction.
