Maybe Amanda/Miranda by Richard Peck? There's different covers and versions, including a Young Adult edition.I found it searching online so I don't know if all the details match but it fits your description!

Main character was a maid to a rich lady who resembled her a great deal. The rich woman had an affair with the maid’s fiancé and became pregnant. The maid walked in on them in bed together and broke off the engagement. They wound up on the Titanic and the rich lady died. The maid took over her identity (or tried to, I’m not sure if she succeeded).
