Question about Editing Manga

I'd like to ask what the standard approach to titles in manga we use on this site. They seem to be named a bit erratically. For example:

The first volume in this series is titled "Bleach Volume 01: Strawberry and the Soul Reapers" but later in the series "Volume" is abbreviated to "Vol" and a comma is put in front of "Bleach".

Here's another quick example:

This is titled "Death Note, Vol. 1: Boredom." It puts a comma after the series title, abbreviates "volume" with a period after it, and the number is 1 instead of 01.

I can't find anything about what the preferred naming is but there are a lot of titles I could fix once I know.

Personally I feel that it would be best to use the name of the Volume, for example:

The title is "Blade of the Immortal, Volume 1: Blood of a Thousand." I think it would be less messy to just call the volume "Blood of a Thousand" since the information that it is Volume 1 of the series Blade of the Immortal is directly next to the title. However it doesn't seem like any manga is named like this on Goodreads so I'd like to get some input before I start making any changes.

I admit that editing mangas are a pain because of the inconsistency. Though in accordance with the GR manual: "The title should match the title shown on the cover of the book, if that information is available."
Mangas that have volume titles are usually english editions. In my opinion I think the the manga name "Blade of the Immortal" should be a part of the title because it would be less confusing to those that don't know that ""Blood of a Thousand" is volume title name.
