Hidden Clearing

Darkness rolls his eyes.

Ant smiles back and then looks at Darkness "tell that to mr grumpy paws over there" he mews teasingly

"Come on Darkness, lighten up!" Shadows said before playfully cuffing Darkness's ear with her paw.

Here we go, Darkness thought. He smiled. "I was just joking. You know that." he bumped Shadows with his shoulder.

Ant looked at him in disbelief "oh i see! mr grumpy paws has a crush" he lightly teases not meaning to offend him

"Ya right!" Shadows said before rolling on the ground laughing.

Darkness did not deny Ant. He would let Shadows fall head over paws for him......he enjoyed mating.

Ant laughed and mewed "well look at the time I got to go!" Ant races off towards his mothers house

"I'm bored now." Shadows said as she started to stretch.

"Dunno." Darkness shrugged.

"Huh.Well, i cant come up with anything fun to do." Shadows said with a frown on her face.

"Me neither. Maybe I should leave."

"Oh, well, i'm sure we could think of something!" Shadows said quickly, not wanting to be alone.

"Alright.....maybe we could catch a fish.......or try to?"

"Sure." Shadows said as she started to walk towards the lake.

Darkness promptly followed.

"I almost caught one!" Shadows said as the fish swam away.

Darkness waded into the water and watched a minnow.

"So, what do you want me to do?" Shadows asked Darkness.

"I'll scare it over to you, and you catch it." Darkness says.

Diamonds watches from far away.

"Whenever you're ready." Shadows said, looking slightly nervous.

Darkness gave her a handsome smile, then chased the minnow over to her area.

Shadows grabbed it with her teeth and gave it a small nip to kill it.

Diamonds walked forward and stood close to the trees as she neared the two.

Shadows heard rustling from behind her. "Who's there?" Shadows said, turning her head to see who was there.

Diamonds walked out, " Hello, my name is Diamonds," Diamonds answered.

"Why were you spying on us?" Shadows said in a firm voice.

" Do you own the clearing?" Diamonds asked.

"Well, i live here." Shadows said, defending herself.

" But you don't own it?" Diamonds pressed with a straight face,

"Well, other cats come here." Shadows said as she pointed towards Darkness with her tail.

" but you don't own it, so you can't ask me why I'm here can you, well i suppose you can..." Diamonds said the trailed off.

"Well, I can because i LIVE here." Shadows said, pointing towards her nest with her tail.

" so you live here but do you own the clearing," Diamonds asked.

"Uh, I guess." Shadows said, wondering why the she-cat was asking so many questions.

"Well, not exactly, other cats come here." Shadows said getting annoyed.

Darkness sat down in the water and listened to them bicker.

Diamonds smirked and walked towards the river, she sat for a moment then with a flash of her paw she caught a pike, she killed it and left it for thee other cats.
