Sarah Jennings (SarahJennings) | 6 comments Hi, I'm not sure how this happened (though it was most likely my own doing!) or what to do about it, but I need something adjusted.

Goodreads has an edition linked to my Amazon paperback listing and one to my Smashwords e-book listing. If someone ends up on the Goodreads Smashwords e-book listing and tries to click buy on Amazon, they end up with an error message - even though there is an e-book version at Amazon, obviously with a different search number. Is it possible to add a proper link to the Amazon button at the Smashwords edition? Or just have the Amazon e-book version?

Here are the links:
Amazon https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
Smashwords https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

Another thing that is associated with this is that my Goodreads author page isn't connecting to the Amazon listing here, only the Smashwords listing.

Thank you in advance for any assistance!

Paula (paulaan) | 7027 comments The buy links are working as designed, the links only work if the seller carries the edition with the asin/ isbn so if the user tries to use a link to a book seller that does not hold that edition it will give an error message. So if a user selects the smashwords edition and uses a amazon link to buy it will not work. The links are customised by each user not by book or author.

Kindle edition of the book added

Paula (paulaan) | 7027 comments Also you are Sarah^^Jennings (where ^=space). This is used to separate your author profile from others with the same name.

When adding books 2 spaces should be added to your author name to make sure the books end up on the correct author profile
