Kevin Moore (kevmoorewrites) | 63 comments Hey all,

I've just recently learned about "booktubers" or people who review books on their YouTube channels and seem to develop a sizable following doing so. Does anybody know anything about booktubers or have any experience with them? Has anyone had their work reviewed by a booktuber?

Thanks!

I've chatted with afew on twitter. Most of the time they review big name stuff. It's what I was thinking of doing with Indie books but it never materialised because of stuff... (see blog post lol)... I think you can find them using hashtags, they seem like a nice YouTube community where even the bigger names talk to the teeny people.

I think the big pubs provide them with free books for reviews a lot of the time so it's hard to find any who focus on indie :( But I did find a nice girl who is going to be reviewing The Golden Merra on 12/19 as part of her 25 Days of Indie Books campaign. Woot! Woot!

Here's her channel:

Dia Tucker | 7 comments I'm subscribed to a few. One booktuber I follow did a video about indie books but a lot of people I've seen stick to the popular books that everyone's reading.
Here's the links to pages I follow:

There's a lot more but it'd just be link spam. lol
