Thought it was supposed to close on the 15th....? Just wanted to clarify. Thanks for doing this, Lisa!
Also nominators, please remember to state whether or not you are interested in leading the discussion for the books you nominate. We would also like all nominated books to be at least 50 years old.
Now that being said, my nominations are: Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen (I haven't read it yet and neither has the group) and Ruth by Elizabeth Gaskell. I am willing to lead the discussion if either book wins.

I've never read this one, so if anybody knows more than I do, that would probably better. If not, I'll do my best to lead.
