The Queen of Air and Darkness or The Witch in the Wood by T.H. White, the second part of The Once and Future King, published in 1939, the retelling of King Arthur's life after the coronation, chapters I to VIII.

At chapter VII currently. I am puzzled, why is this one, in comparison with the first one, so tedious to read.. Maybe because of the shift of interest toward new characters, that are not interesting at all, even repulsive. I don't know. I must endure :)

It's been so long since I read this now that I can't remember the details, but I do remember it being INCREDIBLY tedious, none of the fun and spunk of the first story at all.
