With a little luck, this is not a link to a motorcycle site.

Dawn | 1299 comments Thanks! I'm only a few pages into The Burning Room and was concerned realizing how "senior" Harry was in the department.

Barry (barrypz) | 3050 comments I'll be starting it as soon as I finish the group read.

Mary Jo (serenemillie) | 125 comments thanks, Barry, I'm crazy about Connelly's writing.

message 7: by Eduardo (new)

Eduardo Suastegui (esuastegui) Connelly's one of the best out there. Didn't care for how Bosch came across in the Mickey Haller series, but maybe I should give one of the main books a try.

Mary Jo (serenemillie) | 125 comments The Mickey Haller series grew on me. I've started The Burning Room and am hooked. Connelly is like a serial killer. Once he gets his hands on you, you're his.

message 9: by Ann (new)

Ann (annrumsey) | 14609 comments Eduardo: I think it might be difficult to "get" Harry solely from the Mickey Haller books. I love both series. Connelly is a master!

Ann (annrumsey) | 14609 comments Good way to put it Mary Jo! I am number six or so on the hold list for The Burning Room. I may not be able to slot it in until early next year. But then I'll have it to look forward to.

Barry (barrypz) | 3050 comments I am reading The Burning Room now, and it kills me that I only have time for about 20 pages/day. That will be different come Sunday when I return to a normal life for another 16 months. (Every 16 months or so I have to work 6 weeks of this ridiculous night shift)
