Angela Oliver (lemurkat) | 2 comments Who here has finished, edited etc and published or had published, their NaNo Novel? Please share the name (and link) here!

I also know a number of professional writers are now using NaNo as a motivational tool too, if you know of any books that also happen to be NaNo novels, add them here too.

I am going to try and make a book list (if I can figure out how and if I'm allowed to).

Tiara Amany (A Wave of Vellichor) (tiaraamany) | 4 comments How do you get your Nanowrimo novel published?

Paige Lavoie | 3 comments Tiara Amany wrote: "How do you get your Nanowrimo novel published?"

We self published with Create Space, but there are several different platforms you can use. I did a lot of editing but also hired an editor to work through the book. My husband works in design so he helped me design the cover and format the book for print.

And then for the ebook he also helped format it for that platform and we published it through KDP. The ebook is actually free on kindle today so if you want to grab a copy and check out the formatting feel free (! If you have any more specific questions just ask :D

Sadie Forsythe | 16 comments If I remember correctly, Sutphin Boulevard started as a Nano too.

message 17: by C. (new)

C. (cbrennecke) | 2 comments My Nano novel will be published!

I'm not sure which ones off the top of my head, but I know there are a few other Inkshares/Quill novels that started as Nano's too. I'll update this comment next time I come across one.

message 18: by Grey (new)

Grey Liliy (greyliliy) | 1 comments Independently Published two so far! Wrote my first book for the 2010 NaNoWriMo, and published it in 2011:

Children of Hephaestus (Children of Hephaestus, #1) by Grey Liliy

And then recently I published 2014's NaNoWriMo novel:

Obsidian of Ruby (Obsidian of Ruby #1) by Grey Liliy

I've participated every year though since 2010, and even a few Camp NaNo's. Not every NaNo book I've written has been published, but they could be in the future. All I know, is that if not for NaNoWriMo, I wouldn't have started writing - so I owe it a lot of thanks!

message 19: by Elayna (new)

Elayna (elaynamae) | 1 comments My novel I worked on for last year's camp & for November is currently in the process of being published! I've entered it in a contest with an awesome company called Inkshares, and it needs to be one of the top 3 pre-ordered books to get there! It's called 'They Are The Last'! Needless to say, I'm pretty stoked about it. :3

You can read the first two chapters below & pre-order it if you're interested! It's a YA Space Opera with a badass leading lady, and I'd love to hear people's thoughts if you get to check it out. ^_^

Laurie Gienapp | 3 comments I wrote the zero draft of The Weatherman during Nano 2013.. shelved it for a year, and then pulled it out the early part of 2015 and got to work. At the same time, a writer/editor I met in Nanoland formed a small publishing company .. Smoking Pen Press. SPP has just published The Weatherman (available on Amazon), and I presently have a Goodreads giveaway running on this title.
