Damian (denis517) | 109 comments Harley Mcfin's curse was said to be "passed down to a member of each generation in the family, remaining unbroken until the end of days." Since we're unsure of Mcfin having other relatives, could the Dresden Files end without the world being saved?

Robin | 24 comments Wow I didn't even think of that. Isn't Mcfin from Fool Moon, it's been a while since I read the earlier books.

Jeanie | 110 comments It's a good question, but I think even the most powerful curses have limits. She wasn't able to determine the End of Days through her curse, it was merely a way to specify an outer limit to when the curse would terminate. If there are no children to pass on the curse to, then the curse ends. In a way, it does then become the "end of days" for that family at least.

That's what I was thinking - with the line ending (assuming it has), then the End has come for that line and so for the curse.
