Mary Carol, I love receiving real mail, too -- it's a longer wait for international mail deliveries (I'm also awaiting the October postcard), but the anticipation sure is fun!

Hello Lovely Postcard People,
The exchange is officially closed for November. Most everyone has a message from me. If you don't, please check your friend requests and add me (GoodReads was a little bit glitchy this morning).
You may have noticed, it amused me to put everyone in reverse alphabetical order by username today. :)
We've got 37 players for this round. 6 newbies: Welcome! and we are from 8 different countries.
Please send your postcard soon.
Happy Day,
rift

This month's theme was suggested by the lovely Amy in Ontario, Canada! She is wondering how you deal with the introductions in books. Anthologies have intros, and re-issued classics have intros. Sometimes the intro is just a few pages long, sometimes it's 30 or 50 pages. Sometimes it enhances the book with great information, sometimes it's a boring drag.
Do you read the introduction in books before you read the story, or after. Or do you skip it totally? Read any great introductions lately? or ever?! ;)
The usual guidelines: You will send one postcard and you will receive one postcard. The postcard can be store-bought or hand-made and can have any kind of picture on the front. We are an International group. Newbies are so very welcome!
You can sign up for this postcard exchange by replying to this thread or by messaging me. Please sign up by Friday night 14 November. I'll be sending out messages with partner addresses on the 15th and 16th of Nov.
Happy Day,
rift
P.S. This will be the last postcard exchange this year! December just gets too busy... and you will have a thousand winter/summer holiday cards to send out, right?! ha! We'll be back at the end of Dec with the January 2015 postcard exchange!
