Dan Santos | 2 comments Jo, I enjoyed and empathized with the political commentary sparked by Cast Away. I can't comment on the book because I haven't read it. But your disenchantment with the political menu rings true.

My knee jerk reaction is that all those systems fail to address the inhumanity of politics so well painted, albeit in broad strokes, in Hamlet: "the law's delay, the insolence of office, and the spurns that patient merit of the unworthy take."

Your notes have saved me the time of delving into Cast Away for the time being. Thanks.

Dan Santos | 2 comments Send it. I do all my reading on an iPad. I'm currently reading a friend's novella for review, but I can get to yours sometime next week. It sounds fascinating.
