1. When we think of Thanksgiving, we think of the Native Americans who lived here first.
Read a book with a MC who is Native American OR a book written by a Native American author OR a book set in 1620's America

2. The Pilgrims and Puritans came to America from England to escape persecution for their religious beliefs.
Read a book with an MC who had to move to a new country for some reason OR read a book where a character is persecuted for his/her religion OR read a book set in England.

3. The Pilgrims came to America in the ship, the Mayflower.
Read a book that takes place (at least half) on a ship OR a book with the word "May" or "Flower" in the title OR a book with a ship on the cover

4. When they arrived the Pilgrims needed help to learn to farm and live in the wild land of America. The Native American tribe, the Wampanoag and the Native American Squanto, help teach the Pilgrims how to live in America.
Read a book where a character teaches something to another character OR read a book where a character struggles to live for any reason

5. The Thanksgiving Celebration was a feast that was celebrated where the Native Americans and the Pilgrims ate together. This feast was celebrated after a good harvest season and it lasted for 3 days.
Read a book with turkey on the cover OR read a book with a family feast/gathering on the cover OR read a book set during the Thanksgiving season Or read a book that is number 3 in a series.

6. The day after Thanksgiving is Black Friday where anything and everything is on sale and people swarm stores to get discounts and deals.
Read a book with something you'd like to buy on the cover OR a book with a store or crowd on the cover OR a book with a shopaholic MC.
