Bonnie D (axolotled) Nice work. You are better at this than me xD

message 9: by Mehsi (new)

Mehsi | 26632 comments Thanks. :) I always like searching for things like this. I will first eat some breakfast/lunch, and then I will continue finding some books. Let's see if we can find something with more than 15 points. :)

message 10: by Bonnie (new)

Bonnie D (axolotled) I have to sleep now. I will be able to check back in about 10 hours and look for mofe books, if needed, in about 17 hour. (I would say tomorrow moring and tomorrow afternoon but your morning and after noon are probaly diffrent to mine)

Mehsi | 26632 comments Ok. Then I will see you tomorrow again. Since in 10 hours it is 9pm (and I probably won't be around then) and in 17 hours it will be very early morning (and I will be sleeping).

So I will see everything tomorrow then. Good luck. :)

message 13: by Mehsi (new)

Mehsi | 26632 comments There are way more Dystopian books, but I think I am satisfied with what I found now, all these books are ones that seem most interesting to me. Let me know what you find. :)

I probably won't check the thread anymore (almost evening, probably will take a nap, and time away from the pc). So I will see you tomorrow.

message 14: by Bonnie (new)

Bonnie D (axolotled) I like them sound of them all especially Bumped. But since that's less points, I am happy to do a 15 point one or one you especially want to read.

message 15: by Mehsi (new)

Mehsi | 26632 comments Hello! Ok then we will pick one of the 15 points one.

My top 3 out of those: Until We End by Frankie Brown The Release (Virulent, #1) by Shelbi Wescott Haven (Apocalypse Chronicles, #1) by Laury Falter

Let me know which one you prefer. :)

message 16: by Bonnie (new)

Bonnie D (axolotled) I quite like The release, Virulent (sorry I am on my kindle so I can't link).

message 17: by Bonnie (new)

Bonnie D (axolotled) (I would edit this part in but my kindle doen't let me.) Then Until The End would be my second prefrence. I like the sound of both.

message 18: by Mehsi (new)

Mehsi | 26632 comments Well shall we go for The Release then?

message 19: by Bonnie (last edited Oct 29, 2014 01:54PM) (new)

Bonnie D (axolotled) Sure. *high five* Decision made.

message 20: by Mehsi (new)

Mehsi | 26632 comments Yay! *high five* Decision made. Now we will just have to decide when to start and how many pages/chapters to read each day.

message 21: by Bonnie (last edited Oct 30, 2014 02:00PM) (new)

Bonnie D (axolotled) According to my kindle the book has 23 chapters including the prologue. We get 10 extra points if we finish it on or before the 7th, so that would be about 4 chapters (or 3.285714285714286 according to my calculator... But that is a little technical) a day to get the book finished in the first week. If we only want 5 extra points it is 4-1.5 chapters a day.

I can do 4 chapters with a motivation like this. You can choose what suits you best.

message 22: by Mehsi (new)

Mehsi | 26632 comments Let's try to get it done before the 7th then. So around 4 chapters a day, that is not that much, we can do this. :)

message 23: by Bonnie (new)

Bonnie D (axolotled) Yay. So technically the 1st here is in about 3 hours so just in time. I am really excited.

message 24: by Mehsi (new)

Mehsi | 26632 comments I am also excited, though I will start tomorrow, since it is only 11.20am here on 31st of October. :) I will search and get the book today.

message 25: by Bonnie (new)

Bonnie D (axolotled) Okay. I better get some sleep. Happy Halloween!

message 26: by Mehsi (new)

Mehsi | 26632 comments Thanks! Sleep well. :)

message 27: by Bonnie (new)

Bonnie D (axolotled) I just finished my 4 chapters for today. So far I am enjoying it. I don't want to spoil anything until you read it. xD

message 28: by Mehsi (last edited Oct 31, 2014 02:27PM) (new)

Mehsi | 26632 comments Congrats, good to hear that you are enjoying it. :)

I will start with the book tomorrow, which will be in about 11 hours or depending on when I wake up and such. :) Can't wait to start.

message 29: by Mehsi (new)

Mehsi | 26632 comments Well I just read the first chapters (prologue + 3 chapters).
It started off a bit slow, but it picked up speed in the third chapter. Can't wait to read 4 chapters again tomorrow. :)

message 30: by Mehsi (new)

Mehsi | 26632 comments Well read the next 4 chapters (4,5,6,7). Interesting story so far, though I really hate that principal.

message 31: by Bonnie (new)

Bonnie D (axolotled) Agreed, just about to read my next few chapters 8,9,10,11

message 32: by Mehsi (new)

Mehsi | 26632 comments Yeah, as soon as I had some lunch, I am going to read 8,9,10 and 11 too. :)

message 33: by Mehsi (new)

Mehsi | 26632 comments 8,9,10,11 read. It was decent, though it drags a bit.

message 34: by Mehsi (new)

Mehsi | 26632 comments Finished with 12,13,14,15. Almost there! Still hoping it will improve some more. I am getting tired of the school setting, with the impossible things that happen there. I want to see the world, want to know what happens there.
All in all, I am getting quite bored and I keep rolling my eyes.

message 35: by Bonnie (new)

Bonnie D (axolotled) I have read up to 15. I agree about the school setting. But seriously, how did this guy get the job as a principal... I don't know if I like Grant and Salem becoming a couple. I just don't think it was needed.

message 36: by Mehsi (new)

Mehsi | 26632 comments I have no clue, probably with bribes and a whole lot of money. Seriously, some people shouldn't work with kids.

And I wasn't sure about it either. I also didn't really think it fitted, like they just added it to add something extra.

message 37: by Mehsi (new)

Mehsi | 26632 comments And I read the rest of the chapters, sorry but 19 left open a lot and I just couldn't wait until tomorrow.

message 38: by Bonnie (new)

Bonnie D (axolotled) Oh the feels :(. I am finishing it tonight.

message 39: by Bonnie (new)

Bonnie D (axolotled) Finished. I did not like the ending. 6th of November here. I will give more detail into what I thoughg about the book later.

message 40: by Mehsi (new)

Mehsi | 26632 comments 6 November for me as well. :)

We should post the points + date and such on the main thread. Do you want to do that? Or do you want me to do it?

message 41: by Bonnie (new)

Bonnie D (axolotled) Can you? I can only stay on Goodreads for a couple of minutes.

Did you like the ending? I thought it was a bit ridiculous. First she agrees to leave her brother, when the whole book she refused to leave the school until he found her. And Grant... "Oh hey! I have a air balloon in my shed!".

I did quite enjoy the book though. 3 stars.

message 42: by Mehsi (new)

Mehsi | 26632 comments Sure, though I already see the check mark next to the thread (which normally isn't added unless we posted that we are done in the main thread) and it seems our points are also added. So I guess we don't need to post things any more? *is a bit confused, since that was a requirement before*

Sorry for the late reply, when you replied I was still asleep (it would be 6 to 7 am).

Yeah, the ending was a bit unbelievable. Like, seriously, you have a hot air balloon? Just conveniently located in the shed? Oh and did I mention he could just fly it?

I rated it 3.5 stars. :)

message 43: by ★ℕłℂØℓҾ★ (Nix), snowflakes and eyelashes (new)

★ℕłℂØℓҾ★ (Nix) (ladyknightnix) | 5531 comments I've been keeping an eye on the threads so I saw you guys were finished. :) Sorry for the confusion!

message 44: by Mehsi (new)

Mehsi | 26632 comments Ah, hello Nicole! We were being watched! ;) No problem, thanks for letting us know.

message 45: by Bonnie (new)

Bonnie D (axolotled) Thankyou :)
