Lotus Press | 1 comments Hi Aqua! Hello everybody! Hope you're having a wonderful day. I am representing Lotus Press Publishing House and we have been in the industry for over 14 years now in Germany. We are currently expanding and is the reason why we published 3 English books out in Amazon for people outside Germany. We would like help from authors to give us out a review for the book. We will be looking forward for your response.

Thank you very much!

Cat-Elektra (cattiecannslug) Hi!! My name is Cat and I live in Boston, MA in the USA. I like cooking a whole lot and really enjoy anything to do with food. I like learning different ways of cooking and eating. I have an extensive cookbook collection, which I peruse through all the time. As you can see from my profile pic, I love The Two Fat Ladies. If you don't know who they are, please Google them. They rock!!!

I also like to read and write. I've been reading since kindergarten and by the second grade I was reading authors like Stephen King and Dean Koontz (thank you Grandma!). My teachers were not happy about the choice of books!! My family's response was, "At least she's reading."

I'm not really a health nut, but could stand to lose several pounds. I have several health issues ranging from type 1 diabetes to bipolar disorder (the list is extensive). For the diabetes, I take a highly concentrated insulin, which makes losing weight extremely hard. But putting the weight on is easy peasy!!! LOL!! Over the past few weeks to the past two months, I've lost about 12 pounds. I have a ways to go.

I hope to learn a lot through meeting new friends and through discussions. It's nice to meet you all.

Cat-Elektra (cattiecannslug) Hey Aqua! I can use all the help I can get. My big problem is exercising. I'm not a fan. I have really, really bad knees. (Right now I'm recovering from a torn meniscus, which is painful, but manageable.) Walking is extremely painful. I do a little here and there but not enough. But since a major life change has occurred in my life, I've managed to lose about 10 to 12 pounds. (Woooo!!!) I wear a pedometer and have been managing about 2500 steps, even with the torn meniscus.

Happy to be onboard with the group! Health, nutrition, and natural healing are the subjects of my book Sojourn to Honduras Sojourn to Healing: Why An Herbalist's View Matters More Today Than Ever Before. https://www.createspace.com/5074819

It is part memoir and part information (from herbalist and natural healer Dr. Sebi). You can read more information at the book's website http://www.sojourntohonduras.com or right here at Goodreads. Thank you!

JenWC | 2 comments Hello! Thank you for inviting me to this group!

I am a heathy eating and fitness fanatic. The biggest and best thing I have ever done for myself began when I lost 70 pounds approximately 8 years ago by changing my diet and a 6 day a week exercise routine. I initially counted calories and did a myriad of activities, dance, yoga, Pilates, etc... In the past few years my focus has shifted to a healthier diet (quality rather than quantity) and running-which I am absolutely obsessed with.

I am a licensed esthetician, so in essence I am a beauty product and sunscreen fanatic!

I look forward to getting to know all of you! :-))

Mia Campbell (miacampbell) | 3 comments Hi! I'm Mia (nickname for Michelle - happened because little kids can't say Michelle!). I qualified in aromatherapy, massage, and reflexology 20 years ago.

I got interested in health as a child. I was brought up in a 'red meat is good for you' family, where my Mum would sacrifice her own meals to make sure I got 'good' rump steak. I was an overweight, unfit, and unhappy child with a constantly gurgling digestive system, no energy, and constipation. I didn't start perking up until I read a health book and realized it was possible to feel better.

I took up gentle exercise (school PE put me off), started juicing, got interested in raw foods, and eventually went vegetarian. Then I was in a bad car wreck which left me disabled and in a lot of pain. After years of surgeries to rebuild bits of me, lots of anesthetics and painkillers (and a 5-year addiction to sleeping tablets), and two miracle babies, I managed to get back on the health train again.

I still battle pain and some depression but tackle them as naturally as possible when I can - which I can most of the time. I find that having my own health struggles has made me more understanding of other people's health challenges.

My daughter and I eat some raw vegan food and we're gradually transitioning to more. We're currently in the US on vacation - a roadtrip - and enjoying all kinds of wonderful fruits and veg that are more fresh and less expensive than at home (UK) so we're having a blast. The only thing I don't prefer here are coconuts. I had been wanting to try the young cream colored ones for years but have to say I prefer the hairy brown ones!

Job-wise, I'm on a tourist visa so not allowed to work while I'm in the US - which is great because I needed a break and being forced to is the only way I stop! I have three published health books (on skin brushing, inversion therapy, and a historical weight-loss book) and have a course due to come out soon (I recorded it before I left home and left it to my son to edit and upload so I'm expecting it to be out sometime this century!).

Cat, that's really impressive - well done! I had never had any problems with my knees until the last year or so and now I understand why people with knee problems struggle so much with exercise. It seems like there's nothing you can do that doesn't involve your knees.

Michael Granger | 6 comments Hello,

I'm here on behalf of the SteadyHealth internet community, which created a dozens of books about healthy living, nutrition and weight loss. We're just about to start a free campaign for our ebooks and would like to share them with you.

Our first book is about a diet pill called Duromine. You can find it on the following link - http://amzn.to/1Ar7m5p.

It will be free for the next five days. The main advantage of our books is that they are created by real people sharing their real-life experiences. Our members share their doubts and tips about this weight loss pill — unlike those promoting the use of this pill, they provide unbiased peer-to-peer information which will really help people who are considering using Duromine know what the pros and cons are.

We would greatly appreciate your help in our effort to reach people and educate them about the safest weight loss methods. If you are willing, please, leave us a comment on Amazon.

Also, if you want a review from me, feel free to contact me and I will do my best to help you out.
