I loved it, but the Trina Danny aspect was underdeveloped in my opinion or I would have given it 5 stars. Great action, and romance. I love Sawyer and Carmella.

How surprised were you about the Mawla being Wira’s mother?

Very surprised!
I gave it 4.5 stars (but upgraded to 5) because I really loved this story but would have liked the background on Trina/Danny. I think this is one (if not the) of the favorites so far in this series. In addition to a really great romance, the action scenes were so good in this book.
It was a great book. Both the romance and the action - it all worked. I was surprised that Wira's mother turned out to be the Mawla. I'm not sure I really buy that, but a nice way to tie up that plot point.
I didn't really buy that either, Anita. But it did tie things up.
