Anyone know when Bates Motel starts up again?
I really enjoy Bates Motel. I find myself liking all the weirdos in spite of myself.I love American Horror Story and will be watching Freak Show soon.
American Gothic was very different at the time, it's a shame it didn't get a fair go.
Supernatural started back up. I remember how it was hanging by a thread each season for I think the first 5.Tried the new Constantine. It was watchable enough. I'm not checking the DVR in wild anticipation of the next episode but it wasn't bad.
Uh I love Spn. But, I have to admit it was better, like the second season, and the 4th..great!

I've also been watching The Strain. How could you not like Zombie Vampires? Plus, the boss bad guy looks like a bald Pennywise.
I just signed up for netflix streaming yesterday so any recommendations for series (or movies) would be appreciated :-).
here are the shows I watch: lost girl,(on Netflix) I love it so much and sadly, it's being canceled. sleepy hollow, twin peaks (it's on Netflix), BBC's being human (Netflix), supernatural (Netflix)- I like the older seasons more than I like the previous few. I've watched a few episodes or the pilot for bates motel, the following (Netflix), the strain.

According to the official announcements, the filming process is to be started in autumn the current year and the premiere date for the new episodes on A&E channel is scheduled for March 2015.
Well, after last night I'm finally done with American Horror Story-Freak Show. It's more over the top than even my low standards of entertainment.
I haven't watched the last season of American Horror Story. Should I? Is it worth it?

This season of AHS should be sent to the cemetery, but I can't wait for Bates to start back.
But that's just me though, I do not watch much tv shows, and when I do. I rarely finish the series, just a bad habit. Not because of the series being horrible or anything.I actually thought this past season of American horror story was pretty interesting what I saw of it.

Haven't seen Gotham. Is it like Batman or something? Love Bates Motel, and Fargo last year was awesome.
AHS started out good, but has been steadily going downhill. It was supposed to be about the freak show, but after the first two episodes it veered off to Dandy, sex, and everything else.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Bates Motel. I used to watch Grimm but when stopped when Juliette lost her memory and had a fling with Nic's boss - just hate when writers do the same old thing.... Recently watched AHS on video from library - have seen first two seasons. Although the ending for season one was a bit weak, overall I have enjoyed both seasons. Waiting for third season to come available - Coven. Back in the day I LOVED Twin Peaks. And American Gothic was great as well.
I loved the first two seasons of AHS, found the third watchable and sometimes still creepy...but this latest season lost me. It just seemed really flat, kind of listless. I stopped watching a few episodes back. Better luck next fall. :( (If they get a next one, I guess.)
Z. nice to finally hear from you. Maybe you will even introduce yourself, and tell us about your book coming out next year. I agree, liked the first two season's, but the third one sucked. This year is just very little horror and some porn thrown in for good measure. I don't think they will be back for another season.
Too bad about AHS - it was a great idea ...
You can almost always tell when series writers are running out of ideas and creativity. Each episode seems like their making it up as they are filming. Too much pressure under deadlines and not enough time to relax and think. Just my opinion.
So what other horror series are out there? I am seeing gotham and bates motel.. I wonder if those are on netflix.
I've gotten into Orphan Black Not necessarily a horror, but a very good suspense thriller. And there's always "The Walking Dead"
I'm watching:sleepy hollow, supernatural, Constantine, AHS coven..i think that's all right now. these are on Netflix & hulu
I only watch Haven and Sleepy Hollow regularly plus two sitcoms, but both of those series are starting to lose me. Will have to try and repeat episodes to stay up on it, but "Haven" doesn't put episodes online regularly. Not since "The Killing" have I been mad about missing episodes!

Still enjoying Walking Dead & Bates Motel. AHS is a bit ho-hum, I've watched 4 or 5 eps and can't seem to find the motivation to watch more. So disappointed after loving the first three seasons.
Orphan Black is an excellent show, I highly recommend it if you like suspense.
Grimm is quite good, If you'd kept watching, it definitely got better and I didn't think the "fling" was 'the same old thing" But, just my opinion.

I loved the first season of AHS. I watched about five episodes of the second season and gave up. I never bothered to even watch a single episode of the last two seasons.I like haunted houses, and Murder House totally captivated me; I loved that house so much I think I would still live in it, regardless. Without a fabulous house I just am not motivated to tune in.
Also, I hear that the show has a lot of musical scenes in it these days. I can't stand musicals.

I liked seasons 1 and 3 of AHS but I was rather meh about season 2. I haven't seen any of season 4 yet.What is Murder House? I don't have any kind of cable so I tend to buy tv series on dvd if they interest me enough. lol
Murder house is season 1 of AHS. I think they keep getting better. Coven (season 3) has been my favorite so far with 4- freak show- right behind it.
Have you guys watched Black Mirror? I have been told to skip the first episode. I did not. Each episode is a stand alone. I think folks here might ....find it intriguing. Don't let that first episode freak you out too much. It is on Netflix.

I used to watch all of the twilight zone shows and I think it's on the scifi channel now.
I am going to check out the new Constantine series later today. I have to admit that I wasn't able to make it through the movie for some reason. Not sure why. I am a fan of both keanu reeves and shia la'beouf. I'll give it another try.
We recently started watching the Buffy series all over again from the beginning. Haven't seen it since it first aired. It holds up well :-).
I have a soft spot for American Gothic. It may still be on Hulu. It was at one time.
This is off TV but I love the Marble Hornets series on youtube. Anyone else watch the youtube horror series? I plan on rewatching from the beginning. I think it's built up to something like 60+ hours.
And youtube also has a bunch of channels where people read short stories. Chilling Tales for Dark Nights is one.
