Malibu pecked her cheek as he served them up the pancakes and dat across from her "of course I'll hold your hand...but from what I've heard Mira is pretty gentle. What if I get one from Antony next to you would that help?" He offered wanted to help the best he could.Mira smiled "I actually got her a brand new machine and flash book so I think she's repaid...I want her to work full time but she already has her own parlor." She explained and nodded at the idea of a yard "I love that...and a really nice garden area with a hamic swing...and a zen fountain." She mused already dreaming it up in her head.
Grace held onto him resting her head on his arm and swallowing "we both are so young...can we really do this? I mean this wasn't my plan and yours either I reckon!"
Ashley smiled lightly, taking a pancake and putting it on her plate, slathering it in whipped cream, and then syrup on top, and then chocolate sauce. "You would get one too?" She asked, surprised. "I mean… I'd love that… but you don't have to do that just for me Malibu… tattoos are permanent after all. I don't want you stuck with something you don't want."Antony chuckled. "Never mind. She was probably pretty happy about that then." he wrapped his arm around her shoulders and relaxed back. "That sounds like the absolute dream house. Now we just have to go house hunting and find it." he said, tipping his head to smile down at her. "And then find the money to pay it off."
Josh held her gently in his arms and shook his head, wanting her to be as happy about this as he was. "Of course we can do this. We're not all that young. We're already out of University. Chris married Laila just after their fourth year, so they were younger than us." he pointed out. "We can totally do this. Even though it wasn't planned, I have to say, it is a pretty awesome surprise." he insisted.
Malibu shrugged "I've always wanted one Ash, I know what I'm getting and I know that it'll hurt but that's ok it'll be worth it. Is Mira choosing your tattoo or are you?"Mira smiled "well HQ is giving us 100,000 so i don't sue for being pronounced dead and kidnapped so that'll help a bit...but we will still work hard and never have to focus on debt."
Grace sighed holding him close "what if I mess up? What if im a bad mom and we...we break up before even marrying and our lives go upside down!"
Ashley nodded, taking a bite out of her pancake. "Alright then. I suppose I can permit you to come along." She said, her smile soft. "Mira's choosing the tattoo, but I think that's better anyways." She sliced off another bit of pancake. "Because honestly my sense of art and design aint all that strong." she joked, shaking her head as she took a bite. Antony chuckled. "that's a mighty fine compensation fee there darling." he said, nuzzling his nose against her neck. "But you're right. We're both hard workers, and I think we can get through life fine." he assured her, pecking her nose. "But I'm serious about getting better soon. I am so done with hospitals." he said seriously, shaking his head.
Josh kissed her gently then, silencing her. "We'll be alright." he whispered, resting his forehead against hers. "We'll take each battle one at a time. You and I are strong enough to pull through together, no matter how many struggles we hit, no matter how many fights we have." he promised, kissing her again. "Trust me on this, ok?"
Malibu raised a brow at her use of that word "sense of English is apparently not that grand either..." He teased and nudged her feeding her a bite of his pancake "you know...im kind of im love with you.../and I think a tattoo will look amazing on your gorgeous skin, and it's your best friend doing it! What could be better?"Mira nodded "im fine...the shrink just won't let me go..thinks Im hiding pent up emotion...you don't say?!" She was irritated and folded her arns "but I don't want to be away from the twins and they are still so little and weak..."
Chris and Laila entered the beach house "Parker! Your mom is home and we have a surprise for you!" He called up the stairs and pecked his sister's cheek "how are you doing Kriss?"
Grace took deep breaths and slowly noddrd as she held onto him tightly "ok,,,will you come with me to the doctor?...:so we know what we are supposed to be expecting...not a fan of surprises."
Ashley laughed, eating the pancake off his fork. "I was joking!" She complained after she had swallowed. Then she blushed lightly and tipped her head. "Really now? You know. That's another thing I like about you. That you are so absolutely sweet, and you say such sweet things like that. Don't you ever stop. We both need boosts of self esteem every once in a while." She pecked his cheek, leaving a spot of whipped cream and giggled. "Well… I suppose having you there will make it better. And if you like it… then that will be even better. But the whole thing happens tomorrow, and I'm quite nervous."Antony nodded, rubbing his thumb slowly over the back of her hand, before he looked up at her thoughtfully. "I could talk to the doctors. You certainly aren't crazy or anything. Hiding pent up emotion, maybe." he winked. "but not crazy enough to be kept away from the kids." he smiled softly, shaking his head. "Can you believe it? We're parents."
Parker wooped in delight and thundered down the stairs, leaping at her father and hugging him, Munchkin not far behind. She giggled and hugged Laila and then stepped back, looking around expectantly for the surprise.
Krissy smiled lightly, giving him a quick hug. "Better." she said honestly. "Still working through some things, but we're going camping soon, so hopefully that will give us a break to sort out… well, everything." She smiled lightly.
Josh nodded, kissing the top of her head and then just resting his cheek there as he continued to hold her. "Of course I'll come. I wouldn't let you go by yourself." he insisted. "And we can pester the doctor and ask lots of questions to make sure we're ultra prepared." he promised. "There won't be any bad surprises that way."
Malibu stroke her hip "well we can just lay in bed all day today as a reward for doing so well tomorrow!" He teased holding her close "kind of a reverse bribery...you'll be fine you can squeeze my hand till it breaks, practice for if we ever have kids!" He nudged his nose against her cheek "Mmm I love you...and I've decided that since you are my wife I should surprise you every day. And you can keep them and when we are old or I die I tragic young death you can look at them and smile!"Mira shoon her head "I can't believe it...I mean I had Nimu...but it's just more real now and we have three! That's more then most couples that have been married 10 years or something!"
Chris hugged her back "just be honest...I know that's hard for you but it's what is best for your marriage...really. Trust me I had to learn that the hard way...oh and don't get eaten by bears." He picked up Parker over his shoulders "what would you think about being a big sister?"
Grace smiked and just relaxed "how did you become the peaceful responsible one?..." She mused pecking his lips and tugging him to the clinic and going to see her best friend Jess.
Ashley leaned into him and smiled. "I like reverse bribery…" She whispered, giving a soft laugh as she reached out to twine her fingers through his. "I'd love little surprises… and kids one day. But for now, just little surprises. And Malibu, don't you dare even talk about dying a tragic young death. I'd bring you back from the dead and kill you again if you dared leave me like that." She teased, pecking his nose. "Help me with the dishes? Then we can start on our lazy day in bed."Antony chuckled. "yes, it is quite a lot all at once." He agreed, a little surprised and nervous himself. "But I think we're up to the challenge. Such daring, brave young people like us." he winked at her. "Besides, our kids will never be lonely, they'll have each other."
Krissy smirked. "I know I know. I'm trying harder now to be honest with him and I think it's working." She admitted, shrugging. "But thanks," she rolled her eyes. "I'll try my hardest not to get eaten by a bear." Walking into the kitchen, she called back, "Lunch will be ready in ten!"
Parker's eyes widened as her father picked her up and swung her onto his shoulders. "Big sister?" She repeated, her eyes immediately shooting to Laila's stomach. Laila smiled lightly and nodded. "That's right honey.
Parker giggled hysterically. "Imma be a big sister!!!"
Josh chuckled then, lifting and shaking his head. "I figured now probably wouldn't be the best time to freak out. Don't worry… I'll go pace and brood and freak out later where you don't have to watch me." He teased, tipping her chin up and kissing her. "I don't want this to be stressful for you, either of us really, but especially you." he rested his forehead against hers.
Malibu gave a wolfish grin "who said anything about being lazy...maybe after we can cuddle." He mused pecking her cheek and helping to load the dishwasher after rincing off the sticky syrup and hummed to himself "would your spite be so much that you wouldn't even be glad you brought your zombie husband from the dead?"Mira laughed drying "daring brave young people? Oi vey I don't think your head is on straight boy!" She hit his arm lightly and smirked before going into a deep thought "I uh...we could...well ask your mom for help?" She knew it was a touchy subject but they were going to need all the support they could get!
Danny nibbled her ear down her neck "I'll bite the best before it bites you." He teased and held her around the waist "mm I miss time alone...not that I don't love having the family here." He reassured her in case she got offended.
Chris put her down so she could hug her mom and hugged them both in a large group hug "you will be the best big sister this baby coukd ask for Park!"
Grace flicked his nose "I appreciate it, really..." She thought it was so swest how he was stepping up and taking charge of this baby and her. It was chivalrous and sexy! She tapped Jess' arm "need to practice an exam?" She was in med school and they worked together before then.
Ashley laughed, shaking her head as she loaded dishes over to the kitchen to be put away into the dishwasher. "Alright then, sexy man. Back to bed we go." She plopped in the soap and closed the dishwasher, letting it run. "Of course I'd be in hysterics that you died. And then I'd probably panic at seeing a zombie, and then I'd probably hit you just because I was scared… and then I would realize it was you and I would love you all over again even if you ate my brains." She teased, taking his hand. "Come on. Dishes are done. Lets go."Antony laughed easily, glad to have this time to be happy and joke with her again. He had missed it dearly, and honestly, he just wanted to spend time with her again. And then his smile waned and he let out a soft huff. "Why my mother? Let's just ask someone else who's had kids. Like Chris and Laila." He suggested.
Krissy closed her eyes and let out a soft huff, smiling. "My big protective man…" She kissed his cheek. "Are you packed? We leave tomorrow you know. We'll get lot's of time to just spend time together then, but we need to be ready to leave."
Parker ran over to hug Laila's stomach, and she hugged her back, leaning into Chris. Parker giggled. "You smell like hospital." Laila smiled lightly, half grimace. "Yes… showers are needed right now."
Josh smiled, pulling away to look at her. "No problem love, that's my job." He said seriously, knowing he needed to be there for her.
Jess looked up, clearly frazzled. "Yes! Please! I have exams in a week and I have no idea what I'm supposed to do. They're like fifty percent of my mark! I need to do well on these if I want a job…" She yanked at her hair, and then seemed to notice that she was ranting. She huffed. "Sorry…"
Malibu quickly scooped her up and chuckled "brains! I want brains!" He lay her down kissing and tickling her nipping down her neck and chest "or your body I find both attractive!" He teased nuzzling her.Mira put a hand on his arm "because I want the twins and Nimu to know their grandma and it's time you forgave and forget...please? I never had a mother or grandmother and I want the kids to have a normal life, well as normal as we can give them."
Danny nodded "everything is ready to pack it just had to go in the bag and zip up!" He explained and squeezed her "im so excited to get away...my agent is pissed off but I don't really care."
Chris nodded leading her to the master bedroom and bath as he pulled out some pjs for her "get showered. I'll get our stuff unpacked."
Mira laughed lightly "well im your perfect guinea pig, I'll just go get changed and you can do the doctor protocol."
Ashley shrieked. Laughing as he but and kissed her. "Mercy! You'll tickle me to death!" He smiled, pulling him close so she could kiss him deeply. "And I find you deeply attractive too, handsome man." She reached up to rake her fingers through his hair. "And I love every bit of you."Antony rubbed his thumb and his forefinger over his forehead, sighing heavily. He didn't like talking about his mother, or his family, or his past. But he couldn't deny his love the only mother she'd had. She needed to meet her mother in law, even if he wasn't on good terms with her. "Alright." He huffed. "I'll call her."
Krissy sighed in releif, giving him a hug. "Thanks love, you're amazing." She nuzzled him and closed her eyes. "This isn't going to hurt your rep though, right?" She didn't want their trip to ruin his job.
Laila smiled in releif, taking the pjs. "Thanks love." She went and turned on the shower, hopping in with the water on extremely hot. It felt amazing. She scrubbed everything down and then towelled off, emerging from the shower with wet hair and in her pjs.
Jess sighed in releif, glad. "Thank you! Thank you so much!" She hugged her quick and ran off to prepare the room for a quick exam. She got set up with her notes and chewed her lip nervously, running through in her head what she was supposed to remember
Malibu laughed and held her close slipping her shirt off and kissing every inch of her "oh yeah...Mmm I think I like that..." He pushed her to the bed and spent a marvelous afternoon with her.Mira hugged him knowing how hard this was for him "thank you...it means the world Tony...it really does and I hope that things will just be good between you two..,I mean she's your mom right?"
Danny shrugged "I think it'll be fine really...and if not then I'll find a new agent I don't think I can tarnish two platinum records."
Chris grinned pulling her on his lap "hi lovely..." He ran his fingers through her hair "I think Parker is excited to be a big sis!"
Grace say on the table kicking her legs nervously "you sure you've got this Jess?" It was unerving enough without her looking at text books to know what to do.
Ashley got dressed the next morning in looser clothing so she could be comfortable sitting or lying down for extended hours while she got the tattoo done. She was clearly nervous as she shrugged her jacket on and tossed Malibu the car keys. Antony huffed out heavily. "Yeah… I'd rather not talk about it for now… please." He said softly, helping her back into her clothes. "We have to head over to the studio now, to make good on Ashley's promise to get a tattoo." he smiled lightly.
Krissy nodded, grabbing two of her bags to load out into the car. "Alright. I'm glad that you'll still be ok in the job section. I'd hate for you to lose your job or suffer just cause of me." She said honestly, returning with empty arms. "And now we can sleep here in a nice bed for one more night before we take off on our adventure." She grinned.
Laila smiled, leaning back onto his shoulder. "I think she's thrilled." She agreed, as it had warmed her heart to see Parker so happy. There would be quite a difference in age between the two kids, but she figured then Parker could help take care of her younger sibling, and they'd get along fine. She rubbed her stomach lightly. "Think we can have a water birth again?"
Jess looked up and nodded, smiling gently as she closed her books and became professional. She walked over and took her temperature and pulse. "I've got this." She said, looking in her eyes ears nose and mouth, nodding all the time. Then she felt her stomach gently, and listened to her breathing, before asking her to lie back and go into the stirrups. "Almost done."
Malibu drove them to the studio and smiled hugging her close "just breathe, I have some pain meds for you." He handed her the juice and the white pills "you go first and then I will so we both have support deal?" He pecked her head and led her inside the studio as Mira and Antony came in.Mira hugged her friend and grinned "im so excited about this!" She said honestky showing her the floral beautiful flowing design "I was thinking it goes across your shoulders in the front it'll look really delicate and lovely."
Danny chuvkled grabbing some of the dinner and feeding her "oh that's always nice! I think I'll miss our memory foam matteds!" He nudged her and grinned "but I'm excited to really get to know you and figure out our life together."
Chris nodded "with the same mid wife if you would like. Whatever makes you comfortable..,you've bern through enough."
Grace lay back and sighed trying to relax but finding it near impossible. She gripped onto Josh's hand and watched him smiling "your so lucky..."
Ashley nodded in agreement, swallowing the lump in her throat. Well at least he'd be there to hold her hand. She just hoped she didn't do something embarrassing like start crying. "Deal." She whispered, gripping his hand already as Mira came up and showed them the design. She had to admit, it was stunning. "How you come up with this stuff… I'll never know…" She shook her head. Antony watched the interaction, easily seeing that Ashley was petrified. He smiled gently at them both. "You two are incredibly brave. And trust me. Once you've got one done, you'll want to come back for another." he winked, getting the machine set up.
Krissy ate what he fed her, grinning the whole way. "Don't worry. It's only a little while, then you can come back to your mattresses." She teased. "You might not like the wild me you meet out there in the woods…" She teased.
Laila smiled, closing her eyes as she rested back against the headboard of the bed with him. "thank you, for being so understanding." She said seriously. She opened one eye and smiled. "Go on now. Your turn for a shower." She urged, nudging him off the bed.
Josh held her hand, rubbing his thumb over the back gently as he watched. He chuckled. "If you think I'm lucky, then you must not know the horror that is exams for males." He kissed her forehead. "you're doing great love." he said, just as Jess stood again. "you're pregnant?" She asked, surprised.
Mira smiled and led her to the chair as she put the stencil on her chest and smilef "this will be beautiful...and it's not the most painful place I promise." She picked out the colors "squeeze onto Mali's hand and don't hold back!"Malibu laughed lightly "I can handle it..." He slipped headphones over her ears "now you don't here the buzz of the machine."
Danny smirked "I think that I've seen all sides of you and I love all sides, I like nature and being with you but I guess I've gotten soft and spoiled. Make me a wild man again Kriss!"
Chris groanef and complained as he pecked her lips and headed to the shower quickly as he got chsnged and groanef at the bruises on his chest.
Grace smiled and nodded "forgot to mention that! Can I can an ultrasound? I think it might be too small for the usual one...so if you aren't trained I need another doctor."
Ashley sat down slowly, her heart pounding faster and faster as Mira put on the stencil. Biting her lip hard, she sent a thank you smile in Malibu's direction and reached for his hand, her eyes wide as she turned back to watch Mira and Antony setting up. She felt like she was being made a fuss over, and it just made her feel more nervous, as she knew that meant everyone else though it would probably be painful too. She stared at the needle Antony handed Mira and her eyes widened in shock, her hand tightening around Malibu's. Krissy laughed softly, getting up and changing into her PJ's as she tugged him into bed. "We'll see just how wild you can be." she crooned, grinning as she kissed him deeply. "Come on. Get changed. It's our last night before the trip, let's enjoy it."
Laila laughed, shaking her head as she watched him grumble his way into the bathroom to have a shower. She lay back on the bed, pulling out her book and reading while she waited for him to finish up.
Jess beamed, putting away her gloves. "Congrats! You look perfectly healthy and normal." She assured her as Josh helped her sit up. "I can't do the ultrasound myself, no, but there are doctors in there working the machine right now. Feel free to just stop in and ask for an ultrasound done."
Mira frowned "just watch Malibu Ash, listen to the music and forget about this..." She rubbed the numbing cream over the stencil "ok Ash first poke..." She started slowly but started the continuous line getting the outline done quickly and gently working. Malibu kept her distracted and kissed her deeply as Mira worked he knew Ashley was scared but she knew it'd be worth it."
Danny pulled on his pj pants and got into bed with her and lay near her holding her close "Mmm should we have fun tonight or go to sleep?"
Chris came out shaking his wet hair "I used your shampoo to kill a spider I got scared."
Grace grinned at him and hugged Josh, it felt amazing to actually know that she was pregnant. She smiled at Jess "you did a good job...except your hands ate freezing!"
Ashley tensed up, breathing fast and frightened. She looked away, training her eyes on Malibu. And then he kissed her just as Mira warned about first poke. She squeaked against Malibu as she felt the first sharp stab, and then it started to trail over her shoulder. When she focused on Malibu, she was fine. But whenever she focused on the pain in her shoulder, she started to tense up and panic. It just felt so strange… and she almost wanted to look at what was going on, but she knew if she did it would make everything worse. Krissy laughed softly, curling up beside him and tugging the blankets over their heads. “It’s late, loverboy. We have a big day ahead of us.” She pecked his lips. “And many adventures to come and nights to spend together. I think we can just get some rest tonight.”
Laila broke out into cheerful laughter, shaking her head. “Oh you are too cute. My poor shampoo bottle! And that poor spider! Please tell me you washed it down the drain…”
Jess smiled half proudly and half sheepishly. “Sorry about that…” she apologized, clearing up the room. “I guess I should have warmed them up a bit first…” she shrugged. “But thank you. For being my guinea pig.” She said seriously, her smile warm. “And best of luck with your child!”
Malibu kept her focused on him as he explored her mouth and down her jaw and neck just trying to keep her blissfully unaware of what was happening. He ran his fingers through her hair keeping her stul so Mira woukdnt be bumped.!he slipped his hand down her thigh and over her waist.Mira laughed lightly "don't go to far...I need her to stay still. And if that was me I would be pouncing Antony right about now." She smiled as Nimu peeked around the corner "hi honey! Want to watch? Is that ok?" She asked Ashley knowing it was her decision.
Chris nodded "a quick service, a hymn and then down he went." He smirked laying by her laying his head on her stomach "how are you doing?" It was wonderful being back home in their bed and joking around as if nothing happened.
Grace waved and smiled as she grabbed the back of her gown and headed to the ultrasound room "I need an internal ultrasound." She explained to the doctor still holding onto Josh's hand.
Ashley found herself thinking less and less about the pain of the needle, and more and more about Malibu, and him kissing her. She let out a soft moan, and then blushed heavily at Mira's words. "Yeah.. Nimuae can watch." She said, making the mistake of glancing at the needle then. She paled and looked away immediately, tucking her face against Malibu. Nimuae walked up to her mother slowly, her eyes round as she watched the needle in interest, surprised at how the ink could be drawn across a body like that. It was beautiful, and she loved how it looked. "You're a good artist." She said softly, enthralled.
Laila laughed harder, shaking her head as she rested her hand on his head, playing with his hair. "I'm alright. Starting to feel a little larger again." she admitted, shrugging. "But hey… I'm out of the first trimester, which is good. There should be less morning sickness now." She ran her fingers through his hair. "How are you?"
The doctor in the ultrasound room smiled generously and nodded. "Of course dear, just lie down here and we can get started." He got the machine prepared, starting up the monitor, and then moved the wand around, tilting the screen so they both could see the image. "There it is…" he said softly, as a little heartbeat was heard.
Malibu stroke her hair keeping her calm "it's ok Ash...deep breath...want some water?" He offered trying to keep her still and relaxed as Mira worked. Mira smiled over at her daughter "thanks honey, come sit and I'll show you how it's done maybe one day you'll do one. How about that?"Chris smiled up at her "surprisingly ok...im glad to have time off, glad all my friends are ok. Just really good." He nuzzled her stomach "glad to have another member in our family.
Grace looked up and grinned at Josh squeezing his hand "it's there...it's so small...how could something that small be alive?"
Ashley nodded, keeping her eyes squeezed tightly shut. "Yeah, sure. Thanks." She said softly, as her throat was feeling kind of dry after all the stress. Nimuae beamed, sitting beside her mother and watching carefully. "I'd love that!" She said honestly. She wanted to be just like her mother. And if her mother did tattoos, then she wanted to do them too.
Laila nodded, knowing how work could wear on him, and she wanted him to have some time off, to just take a break and slow down again. She smiled, looking down at her stomach. "You want a boy this time around?" she inquired, knowing he had wanted a boy when they had Parker.
Josh looked at the monitor, overcome. How… how could that even be… even be possible? It was so precious it was unspeakable. "I can't believe it. I think I'm in love." he kissed her deeply. The doctor coughed. "Well… I suppose that's all you want to see?"
Malibu got her a water with straw and smoothed her hair back "you are half way done Ash...and it looks really good like I know you are going to love it..."Mira smiled "after this one I'll let you try on me ok? We can draw a flower sound like fun?" She didn't care that it will look awful it was from her 9 year old daughter and she loved her.
Chris shrugged "I want you healthy and I want the baby happy...it'd be nice to have a man at the house besides Danny...I mean that guy is great but he's kind of a wimp!"
Grace smiled at Josh and turned back to the doctor "can I see a more clear shot of my uterus? Like better then this? I have...scarring and I need to make sure it's not affecting the baby..."
Ashley gratefully sipped from the water and she smiled. "Thanks for staying with me." She said seriously. "I know I wouldn't have been able to do it without you. So don't go anywhere until this is done, ok?" She pecked his lips. "I have plans for us tonight." She winked. Nimuae smiled brightly, thrilled. "I'd love that!" She squeaked. She got to draw something on her mother? She couldn't think of anything better. It was just perfect. She would be like her, and give her a gift she could wear all the time.
The doctor nodded. "Yeah, sure thing." he said, adjusting the equipment. When he was set up, he moved the wand around again, until it was at a good angle. "You seeing what you want?" He asked, trying to get a good picture for her. "Feel free to move the camera yourself, if I'm not finding it." he said, knowing Grace was a nurse and could handle it fine.
Chris helped Krissy pack up the car and smiled "you have a good time ok? Be safe and stay in contact..." Danny smildd and put an arm around her "we'll be fine, won't be gone long I promise." He highfived Parker "be good kid ok? Have fun at your first day of school I expect you to tell me all about it!"Malibu smirked and pecked her lips "we might both be sore honey, I've still got mine to do." He reminded and brushed her hair back and glanced at her tattoo "your a walking piece of art now Ashlee...a gorgeous piece of art..."
Mira smiled pecking her cheek "go with daddy and pick out colors you want!"
Grace did so and nodded "looks good..." She cleaned up and sat up hugging Josh "I need my pants please...far too long without panties...I need dinner and a snuggle pleasr."
Krissy beamed, hugging her brother tightly. "It's only a couple weeks, Chris, I'll be ok, promise." She stepped back and grinned. "Besides, gives you and your lovely wife some time to yourselves." She winked, waving at Parker as she hopped in the car. Parker grinned, highfiving her uncle. "I promise!" She vowed, taking a deep sweeping bow. "Don't have too much fun!" She giggled. "I want to see all the pictures after."

Ashley rolled her eyes. "Only slightly sore. That's what the bandages are for." She insisted. He had, well, made her want him after kissing her so passionately. Then she blushed. "You know, these compliments aren't helping your case to try and stay out of my pants tonight." She teased.
Nimuae jumped up and ran to Antony, whispering in his ear how she was going to get to draw on her mother. Antony raised an eyebrow, glancing at Mira, and then grinned, scooping up Nimuae and showing her the colour options. "Pick a few, honey, and then Mom can help you get set up. I have to go do a tattoo on Malibu now."
Josh hugged Grace tight against himself, loving both her and the baby inside her, and proud to have both as his family. He chuckled and gave her her pants and panties, shaking his head. "What, I thought you liked keeping your pants off." he whispered, kissing her ear. "Let's go back to the hotel room and order in." He suggested.
Danny helped Krissy get in the car and smiled starting up the engine as he waved to their family "that kid is awesome." He admitted holding onto her hand "sounds like they are having another baby...that'll be adventure yes? Do you think about kids?"Malibu chuckled and helped Mira wrap up Ashley's chest securely and kissed her again "Mmm we'll make it work then." He followed Antony to he light desk "what do you have in mind for mine Ton?" He asked getting comfortable watching him start to sketch.
Mira helped Nim get set up she looked for a good spot and decided her left wrist right under the heart beat symbol for the twins. "Ok what do you want to draw on me?"
Krissy laughed goodnaturedly. "Yeah, she's pretty cool. Takes after her aunt." She said, sitting up taller and grinning. "I hope the new kid is just as fun." She said honestly, resting her arm out the window as they drove. "I do think about kids… problem is, I see myself as a kid still…" She laughed softly. "But yeah… I think that would be nice sometime."Ashley walked over to the table with Malibu and Antony, glad her tattoo was over, and now her shoulder was a little less sore, but still smarting.
Antony grinned and held up a simple but artsy design, just black. It was the silhouette of a pine tree. Ashley smiled. "Mmm… very masculine." She approved. Antony smiled. "This will go on your forearm. Objections?" He asked, wanting to make sure his friend was ok with it before he got started.
Nimuae giggled, beyond excited. "You'll see…" she whispered, her eyes all alight with excitement and mischief. "Can I… can i just start doing it now?" She inquired, the blank ink already set up.
Danny nodded in agreement "id like to be a young dad I mean it's great to wait but sometimes you want to experiance more before you turn 30. I want a family with you Kriss but I'm willing to wait, if it helps though I think you'd be an incredible mom.Malibu nodded his agreement and smiled "maybe a longer trunk like a red wood...and bird silhouettes flying out would be cool." He offered glancing at his forearm "yeah that would look good...I trust you though you know what works best."
Mira smiled and nodded drawing a square with market on her wrist "try not to pass this box honey ok?"
Krissy smiled softly, turning from the window to look over at him as he drove. "I wouldn't mind that." She admitted softly, knowing that if he wanted a family, then she'd be more than happy to provide one. Especially if he thought she'd make a good mother. "But you'll have to talk me into it again sometime later tonight ok?" She smiled, pulling out their map. "You know where you're going?"Antony nodded, adjusting the drawing accordingly. The tree stretched from his wrist up to just below his elbow, and had birds, as requested. Antony smiled. "This'll look good." he said, smoothing the stencil over his arm. "You ready?"
Nimuae beamed, and started up the machine, moving carefully in black first. Her line wobbled, and she bit her lip in concentration, correcting it as she continued to make her curve. Then she added more of the outline, growing more and more confident. Finally, she took a pale whitey pink out, and used it to colour in. When she was done and she set the needle aside, it looked like an apple blossom. Wobbly here and there, but recognizable. "All done!" she announced.
Danny shrugged "yeah I do, so put the map away and enjoy the ride!" He took her hand squeezing it and flipped on some music that wasn't his genre so they could get a break from his famous life. He smiled at her "hey we could do it in the back of the truck, will this trip be baby making trip? No confoms or pills?"Malibu took a breath and nodded "tat me up Tony!" He grinned at Ashley and squeezed her hand at the first poke getting ready for the next hours of pain. He was excited though and he was glad his best friend was doing it.
Mira gasped happy with her girls first attempt it was miles better then what she thought it would be. She hugged her tightly pecking her cheek "good job honey...im so proud it beautiful and it'll heal better."
Krissy laughed, folding the map and putting it in the glove compartment. "Alright then, mr. Joyride. I'll trust your sense of direction." She promised, leaning back again. She blushed lightly, thinking about that. This was a big decision, but she knew her answer. "Yeah sure, I'd be cool with that." she agreed, smiling shyly over at him. Antony chuckled, and got the needle set up. "First poke." He said, and started drawing the design. Ashley's eyes were wide as she stared at his arm, gripping his hand. "You ok?" She asked nervously, having no idea how he kept his cool when she was on the chair.
Antony chuckled. "I'm not murdering him, Ashley, I promise." He said, concentrating on filling in the outline.
Nimuae flushed and stood proudly, so happy that her mother approved. She thought she would be disappointed with her and the sloppy lines. But apparently she was happy, and so Nimuae was thrilled. "Thank you for letting me draw on you."
Danny squeezed her hand and smiled "we are doing this...and we will have many times and lay on the beach and snuggle and eat s'mores, it'll be perfect! Just like before we got married and had cool dates behind your brother's back."Malibu chuvkled "honey im fine I promise! It doesn't hurt that badly, Antony is doing a great job!
Mira smiled and hugged her "you will be a great tattoo artist honey, I couldn't have done this well when I was your age it's beautifiul looks like your dad's first feather on my hip."
Krissy smiled lightly, her blush only growing, and she elbowed him, shaking her head. "Yeah, like old times." She agreed, looking out the window at the trees that were passing by. This place was huge, and she felt like they were driving into the heart of the wilderness. "Are you sure you know where you're going?"Ashley bit her lip, not so sure about that, but she just nodded, being brave for him. But she couldn't look away from the needle, no matter how hard she tried, and so she just watched as the tattoo got drawn on, and then coloured in, the birds added. "All done." Antony announced, wrapping it up carefully.
Nimuae's smile only grew bigger and brighter as her mother spoke. Her drawing was like her father's? That was the most wonderful thing she had ever heard. "Can we show Daddy?" she begged, wanting him to see her art work too.
Delaney slowly looked up at Brandon, she had been meaning to tell him for so long but now they finally were home and unpacking for the hospital "Brand I...I didn't cheat on you, that nurse? He restrained me...and impregnated me...I remember every detail I try not to...but I thought it would be better if I just told you I cheated..."Kenna helped get Luke ready for his first day at the agency "be good save the world come back home." She quoted and pecked his cheek having Faith hold him tightly "I'll be here when you get home I promise..." She walked with a limp but she could do everything else just fine miraculously.
Danny smirked "Ive been here every summer and I know it by heart just relax!" He smirked and frowned as it started to rain "damn it! It said it wasn't supposed to rain..." He kept driving though the mud ride were getting very slick.
Malibu grinned proud of it and hugged his best friend "thanks man it looks perfect!" He wrapped his arm around Ash "shall we go home? And get into the bath? Warm water will feel so good..."
Mira smiled showing Antony "looks like our daughter has the gift..."
Brandon looked up from his phone and frowned. His frown only grew deeper by the second until he hand to put his phone down because his hands were shaking. He groaned and held his head in his hands. "I'm so sorry…" he whispered, choked. "I'm so so sorry love."Luke grinned, saluting to her and kissing Faith on the cheek, who giggled. "I'll be home for supper." he vowed, checking his new fancy watch. "See you soon!" he smiled, giving her one more kiss before he walked out the door and headed to the agency.
Krissy sighed, nodding. "Alright. Fine. Ok. I trust you then." She said, smiling lightly in his direction. When it started to rain, she frowned, not liking it. "Danny, maybe we should pull over for a while and get out the hot chocolate, just until it stops raining." She suggested. "We can hardly see anything now…"
Antony nodded, waving. "Anytime man!" He looked down at their daughter's design on Mira's wrist then, and he beamed proudly. "Hey… little Nim, that looks pretty good!" He said, scooping her up and holding her on his shoulders. He pecked Mira's lips. "Let's go get lunch."
Ashley smiled, leaning her head on Malibu's shoulder. "Yes. Let's go home." She agreed, heading out to the car with him. "A bath will probably be lovely."
Delaney ran to him and hugged him tightly sobbing "don't cry because when you cry I cry...I love you and I just want us to be ok...I died and all I wanted was you...so just hold me and tell me you forgive me..."Chris looked up as his new best friend came in "hey it's the new guy, welcome on board! How's that cute family doing?" He handed him the file work as he grinned at Josh "it's the new daddy! How are you doing?"
Danny shook his head "we are fine Krissy...honey, I've driven in worse like snow!" He kept driving and frowned as an elk leapt out. He swerved and hit a tree that tree promptly fell on them he gripped onto her hand tightly "K-Kriss..."
Brandon wrapped his arms around her, not able to hide that he was crying. His love… his only love…"I forgive you… of course I forgive you. I love you so much baby." he whispered. He hurt for her, and the thought of someone hurting his love made him boil.Luke smiled, taking the files to get started. "Thanks! Kenna and Faith are doing awesome. Getting better everyday thanks to you." he sat down at the computer and got to work.
Josh smiled lightly, shrugging. "Horrified, nervous, freaking out, stressed, panicking, shall I go on? I mean I'm thrilled! I really am. But how am I supposed to be a good father?"
Krissy bit her lip, and when the elk jumped onto the road. Everything after that went by so quickly she hardly had time to register it. They hit a tree, and then that tree was falling and crushing the car, along with her window and as metal crashed down on her, she felt a blinding pain in her spine as something snapped, and then the world went dark.
Delaney sighed in relief and held him close "I love you...and we are going to go on a long vacation and make our own baby ok? Lilly is in boarding school so we have plenty of time right? Even my father took vacations sometimes."Chris smiled "I felt the same way with Parker coming...I mean I found out my wife was pregnant after my first mission that made me famous...you just breathe and take things as it is...and guess what no one knows what to do during the first bsby.
Danny struggled as the phone was out of service this far out, he knew he was badly hurt and Keissy wasng answering "please...someone help..." He begged into the world never being religious so he didn't know how to pray.
Brandon wiped at his tears, burying his face in her hair and just breathing her in. "Yes, let's. I'll tell them I can't work the next few weeks, and we'll fly somewhere nice, ok?" He kissed her, and then kissed her again. "I love you baby, I'm so sorry." He knew there were douchebags in this world, because hey, he had been one before.Josh nodded slowly, absorbing that all in. It was ok that he didn't know what he was doing. Other people didn't either. He would learn as he went along. "Thanks, that makes me feel better." he said honestly. "Any tips from the wise and experienced?" he asked, looking up at him. "You have a second kid on the way now too, right?"
A patrol car came by a half hour later, immediately helping them both out of their car and to the nearest hospital. After hours of work during the rainy night, the doctors reset and put a cast on Danny's leg and wrist, putting four stitches into the gash above his eyebrow. Krissy they had to work on longer, as she had a spinal injury, and they weren't sure if she would ever walk again. She was in a neck brace and resting once they had finished work.
Delaney smiled "it's fine of course...lets go on a cruise or a safari! Something adventerous do you remember when we went to Thailand and rode that elephant? That was fun and easy...sexy I miss that..."Chris frowned as he got the page about his sister he rushed to the hospital and went to her side taking her hand "Kriss? Honey it's Chris your obnoxious big brother..." He pushed her hair back "im so sorry honey...im so sorry id kill that husband of yours...he shouldn't have driven in that rain..."
Brandon smiled standing as he went to his laptop and started searching places to go. "I agree…. there's a few recommendations here for Bolivia, and Russia, oh… and Australia. That might be fun. Snorkelling in the great Barrier Reef, seeing some kangaroos, surfing… exploring the caves. What do you think?"Krissy moaned softly and opened one eye when she heard her name. Seeing Chris, she smiled tiredly. "Hi there obnoxious big brother…" She teased, coughing. "Where is Danny? You didn't really kill him, did you?" She inquired, worried. And then that worry turned into panic… "Chris… Chris I can't feel my legs… Chris you have to help me I can't feel them!"
Delaney beamed and nodded "I'd love to! Australia sounds marvelous, we can go to the opera and scuba dive...hug a koala and see a kangaroo!" She took the laptop and started to buy plane tickets "I can't wait! This will be the best...talked to Jace guess what? He's going to propose to Mai!"Chris swallowed helping her calm down "hey...im sorry...Kriss the doctors did everything they could...your spine shattered in that accident and now...you are paralyzed from the thighs down...you still have urinary and sexual...use..."
Brandon grinned, looking through hotel options and finding one for them near the beach, which he booked. He then searched for car rentals and possible opera tickets. "No way! That's awesome! So much for being a kid against love…" He chuckled. Krissy lay back, panting, trying, trying to feel her legs, trying to move them, but to no avail. Finally she closed her eyes, her face screwed up in pain. She'd never walk again… never run… never ride a bike, or go surfing or play soccer, or do anything really. No more hikes in the woods. The tears escaped her eyes and she reached out for Chris's hand, gripping it. "Well that's great…" she choked, half crying, half annoyed. "At least I won't need diapers!"
Delaney smiled and nodded "she put him back together...but he hasn't recovered from the war, Mai told me he had night terrors...she woke up to him choking her and he doesn't remenber...what should I do?..."Chris shook his head "you can still do so much Krissy! You can hike with a specialized chair and there are special needs sports team and you could do everything that you just said...just differently...you can have sex and have babies you know how lucky you are Kriss? You could have lost your life..."
Brandon frowned. He had heard of night terrors. Some of the agents got them when the job just got to be too much. "There are medications to help with it. But mostly it's a time heals all wounds sort of idea." He said honestly. "It sounds like it's bad enough for him to need meds though. She might want to talk to a doctor for him."Krissy bit her lip. Of course there would be accommodations for people like her. They were living in the 20th century after all. She nodded slowly. She was lucky. She could be dead. And other people like her couldn't have babies or sex. "You're right… I'm sorry, I'm over reacting…"
Chris shook his head "you aren't overreacting Krissy you went through a trauma and you have every right to be upset." He showed her his hand bleeding and bruised "I punched a wall when I found it, because I was upset...Danny has been begging every nurse to let him see you...he's worried to death about you he blames himself."Mai watched Jace and moved out of the way before he attacked her again. She shook him awake "Jace wake up! I'm here...im here..." She hugged him tightly to stop the thrashing till he woke up "please get some help Jace...please..."
Delaney sighed hugging him "im just worried about this brother I never knew...did you know he was abandoned in the desert with his squadron lying dead around him...how can you be ok with that?"
Antony nodded in agreement. "That will be lovely. And maybe a yard for them to run around in." He agreed. "It was good of Ginger to take up the work for you." he said seriously. "We should repay her with something." he suggested. "Does she like candy or chocolate or something?" He suggested.
Josh shook his head, and then shook his head again. "My goodness… I wasn't really expecting this… but I… I really am thrilled." He insisted. "This is unexpected. But hey… It's a new adventure, and we can take it in stride." He promised, kissing her gently.
