Here is a list you might all find interesting. It's Guardian's list of the top 100 books of the 21st century (so far). I was pleased to see Gilead at #2 on the list.

I think there is a quiz too.

Pillsonista | 9 comments Came in at 45, and I'm more than a little ashamed I've read as many as I have from this list.

Austerlitz at #5 while ranking Wolf Hall (which I loved) at #1? Illiterate nonsense.

Just further confirmation that lists ranking books are pointless, especially when they're compiled by an outlet like The Guardian or whatever political rag it happens to be.
