I agree with Tea. I look at it and my first thought is more yellow than green.

But we are not supposed to look there. We could get penalized just by mentioning that thing :)
This time we are supposed to use common sense and go by what we see. If we are not sure, captains ask other captains for their opinion
Gareless wrote: "hmmm i will use it for a yellow cover then! shame it isnt dystopia"I can take it to the Captains for a second opinion if you want
No don’t worry! Since it isn’t good for any type of bingo I was just trying to decide which color cover it would match, so if majority says yellow then yellow is good :D
Gareless wrote: "No don’t worry! Since it isn’t good for any type of bingo I was just trying to decide which color cover it would match, so if majority says yellow then yellow is good :D"I thought it looked green... but I think it kind of depends on the screen you see it on.

Please see above for countdown to end of week. We have a little over 3 days to go and have 17 books read. To avoid a penalty we need to hit 30 books.Let us know how you are getting on with your reading. 😊
Kaley wrote: "I'll definitely finish my current book, and should be able to get in at least one more after that."Great stuff 😊
Do we still even need books? You said we need 18, we already had 21 when I looked yesterday. Are we still okay or will we get that "read over your limit penalty"?
Maddy wrote: "Do we still even need books? You said we need 18, we already had 21 when I looked yesterday. Are we still okay or will we get that "read over your limit penalty"?"We need to read between 30 - 44 books to avoid a penalty, we are currently at 23 books.
I will finish 1 more, but probably not till tomorrow. I’ll make sure to finish it a few hours before deadline so there’s plenty of time for you to update spreadsheets!
Finished From Dead to Worse. I won't be able to read much today but hopefully tomorrow I can start something new!
One of my books took slower than I planned. Finally I got it done with audio. I'm half way done with another one.
Less than 24 hours to go team. We are doing great.Books pending are as follows:
Maddy 1/2
Megan 1
Tea 1
Louise 1/2
Louise wrote: "Can we get a consensus on the following covers please, Color wise."1. my book so I'm biased :P - depending how you see background. it's some grey-blue combination. I'm more inclined to go for safe and say no, than get penalty later
2. none of the colors has over 50%

That was my feeling too, always helpful to get a second opinion though.
Did we make it into the range to not get penalized? If not I can try to cram in a short book before the deadline. But if we’re good I’ll focus on starting something longer for week 2.
As of right now, we're have entered 36 books, which is almost exactly our average :-DOur range for avoiding penalty is 30-44 books, so we are good on both ends at the moment.
There are just over 4 hours until week one ends. No need to rush to finish books, but if you do, please try to get them submitted within an hour of the deadline.
I think I won't push to finish my book in the next hour since we are out of penalty zone. I will just read slowly and post later so it counts for round 2.
I'm going to pick one of the longer books this week so i might end up bellow my numbers. if I notice it's taking me too long to finish it, I'll switch to something shorter so we don't end up behind.
Does my personal % week to week matter, or is it just that the group in general doesn't go over 120% or below 80%? I noticed that since I finished a book this week my week 1 percentage was 160% and I don't want to screw us up.

I think for this week I'm going to start
I was originally going to wait to see if the least favorite books list ended up in a mini challenge, but there are plenty of other books I like/that are on my TBR from that list that I'll be able to pick up should that become relevant.
