Brian | 62 comments A picture book published in the early 80s or earlier. A rich child is faced with a boring birthday party and asks the butler to invite monsters. The book alternates between the 'real' party, where he receives underpants for presents, has to be neat and polite, and not comment on his uncle's slipping toupee; versus the 'monster' party, which is a wild and crazy mess.
