Hi Book Friends!

I would like to set up this thread for everyone to make genre suggestions for next year. Depending on how many genres are suggested I will either just assign them to a month or I will set up a poll for us to vote on them if we have more than 11 (since December is our second chance month).

Eva Space Opera September was incredibly fun this year (you could earn such cool virtual rewards and titles), and it will be repeated next year. If we could read Space Opera for September 2020, that would be awesome.

Other ideas:
- Novels by Indian authors
Salman Rushdie, Jhumpa Lahiri, Amitav Ghosh, Rohinton Mistry etc. - so many have won the highest literary awards and yet I've hardly read any of them. Let's remedy that!
- Victorian literature
Some of the best books of all time were written in the 19th century, and I'm very interested in participating in Victober next year, maybe some others are, too?
- Magical Realism
- Asian literature
- Russian classics
- Prize-Winners

Jenny | 158 comments I would like to see a list of members' favorite books. Top ten of all time, top five of the year, decade, etc. It might be a good way to get recommendations.
