It isn't like a horror book or anything, but as far as I can tell by the plot description, it's weird and chilling, which I think is perfect for October.

Drake Gillaspie | 3 comments How about Stephen King's latest novel, The Institute? From what I gather, it seems to be like a darker Stranger Things. Not stright horror, but definitely a nice spooky chill for October. And King's wonderful writing style always delivers a fun ride.
