I downloaded it. Page 1 until they land in Brazil is 28 percent and then they leave Brazil at 78 percent which implies 50 percent is in Brazil. The story ends at 97 percent so it is actually just over 50 percent but I will leave the ruling to you.

Thanks!

Betrayed by Rita Hayworth by Manuel Puig and Abril Rojo by Santiago Roncagliolo will work.

The other two look more orange to me so they will not work.

Sandi Barnes | 550 comments I rolled a 5, 4, 2

Here are the books I'm planning on reading:

2 My Sweet Saga by Brett Sills -- Europe (hopefully primarily set in Sweden), blue (background)-- reading kindle edition but paperback edition has 455 pp

4 Say You're One of Them by Uwem Akpan -- Africa, orange (hues in road) Appears to be three stories all set in African countries (Kenya, Rwanda, Nigeria) so hope that's okay. Also, if approved for this task, please also note does not have 'children' or 'kids' as a main page genre -- 384 pp

5 Perla by Carolina De Robertis -- South America (Argentina), red (flowers) -- 256 pp

Total pages 1095

Thanks!!

Jessica (sureshot26) | 745 comments It's rare that I look at my draw on a 3-book task and can't find an option in my TBR or the help thread that I can use for any of them! I think it might be the first time I've worried about taking so long to find something that works that I won't have time to read it :).

Also, it seems I'm followed by books set in Australia this season...

Will these two work for South America and Australia?

South America:

Fordlandia The Rise and Fall of Henry Ford's Forgotten Jungle City by Greg Grandin

The red car and the red umbrella.

Australia:

Batavia's Graveyard The True Story of the Mad Heretic Who Led History's Bloodiest Mutiny by Mike Dash

Keep checking Jessica. I keep adding to approved books as I run across them. It does not have to be a lot of the color. Just something on the cover has to be that color.

Europe- Blue - The Steady Running of the Hour by Justin Go by Justin Go
South America- red In the Time of the Butterflies by Julia Alvarez by Julia Alvarez both author are new to me
Africa-Orange- Strength in What Remains by Tracy Kidder by Tracy Kidder author I've read before.

Real concern is color of Africa book and South America Book is set in Dominican Republic . Do these things disqualify my choices?

This author has a whole series of books (mysteries) with the purple stripe and author's name and they are all excellent. Sadly I didn't get Australia and I've already read everything she wrote.

If [bookcover:Letters from Skye|16127238] is at least 50% in Europe it will count. It sounds like most of it may take place in Europe. But I have not read this book. You will have to make that call if you decide to read it.

The Dominican Republic is listed in N. America not South so this book will not work for SA.

Strength in What Remains A Journey of Remembrance and Forgiveness by Tracy Kidder From the description of this it sounds as if some of it takes place in the US. But again if 50% takes place in Africa it works.
