Jennifer | 3 comments Would the Outlander series be considered a clean novel? If not, why?

MJ | 1 comments I don't think Outlander qualifies as a clean, no matter how compelling the story may be. A 'clean' novel has minimal or no profanity, no graphic violence and no descriptive sexual content (both heterosexual and LGBTQ+ themed) I have read the first 3 books in the series and it contains all of these themes in the first book alone.

C. | 297 comments The 1 and 2-star reviews here and at Amazon, leave no doubt to what disgusting filth the Outlander series is !

Happy Reading Watching (nashelie) | 16 comments Not a clean series, triggers for
language, rape, abuse, violence and more. The orginal story idea was great but sadly not family and friendly. In my opinion just not good. :(

It is horrible. I can't understand why anyone reads it!

Amanda (amandalyn) | 95 comments Definitely not clean. Pretty disturbing sexual content. I think I made it through book one, but barely.

Anna Faversham (annafaversham) | 199 comments This is very useful info for me as I write Time Travel Romance too and I have adverts on Outlander's Amazon pages. I shall remove them! Thank you.
