I am currently seeking a beta reader to give feedback on the first nine chapters of my YA Fantasy novel.
Here is the summary for it:
In the hidden world of Kalypso, six Kingdoms reign.
For 899 years, Prince Apollo Zsar has had only two things on his mind: avenge his wife's death, and use a perfectly pure soul to do it for him. This said soul rests inside the body of Sky, a young seagull, who he transforms into a young girl. Apollo, being the evil genius that he is, gives Sky an ultimatum. Either she becomes his personal assassin, murdering the King of Kalypso, or lose her mother forever.
As she is trained as both an assassin, and a regular, seemingly average girl of Kalypso, her curiosity never escapes her. With an ever determined will, Sky learns that Apollo has an even more sinister reason for using her for revenge, and it might not just cost her her mother’s life. In his vengeful plan, Apollo may be using Sky's pure soul, to bring back Pandora, his dead wife.
Sky, unwilling to be Apollo's bait for the rest of her life, gets help from The Arrows, a rebel group in Kalypso, determined to overthrow the Kalypsen government. The only dilemma is, will Sky be able to defeat Apollo and free her mother’s soul herself? Or will she become another collection on his shelf of trapped souls?
