The author here details the reality of black on black racism. (Having completed the book now I can sympathize more with his conclusions). While he expands past individual actions he spends a lot of time on policy makers and power holders who are black and perpetuating the racist policies they should be seeking to overturn.

He does make a comment that this black on black racism is what cost Al Gore the election. On page 142 he speaks of how many black votes were not cast or counted. My question is basically would all those uncounted votes been enough to alter the election?

When he speaks of the ration of white/black police, etc. I wonder if that reflects the amount of applicants? I am not doubting the figures or the implied racism but would like to see more data evaluated

This might be the smartest line ever said for people reading this book.
