Dan Oh, almost forgot, I started my second biggest ass book ever last year with the Russian Literature group. Maybe ten people started. I don't think any of us finished. The book reads like endless anecdotes, one after another, with not much overarching plot. Think Pickwick Papers by Dickens only even more. Not sure I recommend, but it was 1,362 dense pages in its best translation:

But outside of the SFF genres, I'll suggest A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara. I'll try to think of some SFF titles to suggest.
