It sounds SO pretty! My pen-name (so far) is Edee. It's kind of a mix between my first and middle name.
You're real name is Emmeline? I was writing a story called Pandora's Wrath, and the protagonist's name was Emmaline.
Yeah, I get that a lot. *blushes*It's pronounced the same as Emmaline, most people pronounce it 'Emmie-line' or 'Emma-lynn', but nope. Just 'Emma-line' with an 'e'

ESSENCE
At the barbeque the sooty scent of charred pork
mingles with an extract of hot damp charcoal
reminding me of steam pumping from an engine
carving through the August night as it curls
my childhood self from the smoke painted city.
On the ferry white sausage and bacon dinners
plus diverse late diners trail through the salons,
cabins coloured with beer, old perfume, leather
luggage and sweat, all corked by the sea doors,
portholes from the scouring air of the ocean.
Landing, their Citroen’s petrol bouquet
carries us to the house overlooking the harbour.
She greets us with plates of new bread, the tang
of bacon, sausages; eggs sizzling on the black pan,
the overbearing zest of chickens, old wool and stone
mingle with a tincture of ancient earth, fresh grass,
mown hay, wildflowers.

I like it! One of my favorite things about it is the imagery. I feel like I can see and smell everything. (You weren't joking when you said a 'taster' poem were you? Cause I could totally taste the sausage!)
