September is National Literacy Month!

description

Celebrate this month by encouraging the young people in your life to read!

Some tips on how to get young ones to read:
- Set aside time each day for reading.
- Keep books visible around the house.
- Make regular visits to the library.
- Read the book version of your child’s favorite movie.
- Organize a children’s book club with friends in the neighborhood.

Share with the group how you'll celebrate National Literacy Month!

Mari My son has a reading list of books to read this year on top of his required reading for school. Books that he and I chose together.

I’ve been reading to him since I was pregnant. There’s always books around the house. Constant trips to the book store and library. I want him to love to read as much as I do.
