Hi folks! To kick things off, share one book you've really enjoyed in the last two months, and why :)

Matt Booth | 1 comments hmmmm, ok I'll go with The Last Hillwalker by John Burns.
His love of the outdoors and particularly the Scottish mountains shines through in his writing.
He tells his story putting everything out there, not just all the great successes but also the mistakes he makes.
Mistakes we all make as mountain people but often get avoided in the telling. It's refreshing to read an honest account of a life in the outdoors.
Mostly I enjoyed the book because I love walking in the mountains. when I can't be there myself, writing like this takes me there.

Wonderful, thanks for sharing! I agree, it is indeed refreshing to read an honest account - mistakes and all.
