Brennan McPherson (brennansmcpherson) | 26 comments Multiple book pages (of same book) need to be merged so that reviews are in one spot.

Babel: The Story of the Tower and the Rebellion of Man (Fall of Man #3)
Please combine this:
With this page (this is the parent page, even though it has less reviews):

The Hunter and the Valley of Death (Psalm #1)
Please combine this:
With this (this is the parent page):

Thank you!

Matt Gianni | 11 comments Hello,
I just changed publishers, ISBNs, and ASINs for my first book listed on Amazon, so the book has been unpublished, then republished. The Amazon listing now shows both the new Kindle and paperback versions linked:

But my Goodreads author profile now shows both the unpublished and republished books:

This includes the old ASIN B07M6J1DW2 with all my ratings and reviews, and the new ASIN B07WYQV8HY (with the added "Castellum One Book 1" series info) but with no ratings or reviews. Question, please: could a Goodreads Librarian transfer the ratings and reviews from the old book profile (Published January 29th 2019 by Dark Ink Press) to the new book profile (Published August 23rd 2019 by Castellum One) and, when confirmed, delete the old book profile? There will also be some other links to fix, but for now not losing or splitting up ratings and reviews is my main concern. - Thanks in advance, Matt

Goodreads does not delete out-of-print books or editions. Please see and

However, as the author, you have the ability to change which edition of the book is the default, which will come up in searches by title and show on your author profile. Here's how:

Matt Gianni | 11 comments Hi Rivka, Thanks for the information. It seems to me that your first link about deleting published books may not apply because the book was unpublished, then republished. And your second link about out-of-print editions may not apply because the book is still the first and only edition, just unpublished and republished. Please let me ask about the first step alone: can all the ratings and reviews be transferred from the unpublished posting (which no longer exists anywhere outside Goodreads) to the republished posting (the only edition that exists outside Goodreads)? - Thanks, Matt

Matt Gianni | 11 comments Hi Rivka, I see now it has been done. Thank you!

Scott | 17263 comments Both editions have a unique ASIN so they all to be kept on record.

Users may have read the old edition, or have it on their device, and they need to be able to log it here if they wish.

Matt Gianni | 11 comments Hi Rivka and Scott, Thanks for combining all the ratings and reviews. Should the fourth and final (missing) edition then be the republished paperback "Published September 1st 2019 by Castellum One, Paperback, 368 page"?

- Thanks, Matt

message 9: by Scott (new)

Scott | 17263 comments I have added the new paperback edition.

Matt Gianni | 11 comments Now I see it - thanks.

Matt Gianni | 11 comments Hi Scott, This might be nit-picking but, for clarity, should the republished paperback state "by Castellum One" like the republished Kindle Edition (which I just set as default) does? - Thanks, Matt

message 12: by Scott (new)

Scott | 17263 comments Yes, sorry, I forgot that the field does not auto-populate.

I just noticed - the series name is the same as the publisher?

message 13: by Matt (new)

Matt Gianni | 11 comments Thanks, Scott. Yes, Castellum One is both my series and my imprint - all my eggs are in one basket. - Matt

message 14: by Scott (new)

Scott | 17263 comments Ok, just wanted to make sure it was a series with shared character or settings, not a series based solely on imprint.

message 15: by Matt (new)

Matt Gianni | 11 comments Hi Scott, Yes - the present timeline has recurring characters in the follow-on books. - Matt
