Hello everyone,

Please add your suggestions for the October 2019 Book of the Month here, and try to include a link if you can. I will take nominations until next Sunday (Sept. 8) when the poll will go up.

As a reminder, our October BOTM is traditionally a work of fiction/novel.
Thank you!

In light of current events, I am nominating Journey to the River Sea by Eva Ibbotson.

Elizabeth I nominate Bird Therapy (if it's okay.. it's not totally about nature but about how birds/nature helped a man overcome a breakdown).

Morgan Fogelstrom | 6 comments Oh they both sound great. I'm a bird nerd soooo I'm leaning towards the Bird Therapy, but the other sounds fantastic as well.

Hi Elizabeth,

Unfortunately, your nomination came after the thread was supposed to have closed and it is a nonfiction book (correct me if that's not right), when we usually do a novel in October. You could, however, nominate Bird Therapy for the November BOTM.
