It's a better match than your other book, so I'll say yes to it. :-)
Hi, Does this book count for Option 2:
Brooklyn's got a winning team: The Brooklyn Dodgers win their first and only World Series before their move to Los Angeles.
The Boy Who Knew Too Much: An Astounding True Story of a Young Boy's Past-Life Memories
The boy was a fanatic about the LA Dodgers, the team the Brooklyn Dodgers changed into.
ALSO: The boy claimed he'd been Lou Gehrig, who was on the NY Yankees team a few years before the Brooklyn Dodgers beat the NY Yankees in the World Series.
ALSO: California baseball in black letters in verse 3
Three half-links?

I think its too much of a stretch.
If Lou Gehrig had played for either the Dodgers, or a California team, I'd have said yes, but that doesn't sound like its the case.

Thanks, Trish!
Could North Korea Journal work for North Korea? The author talks about the political situation in North Korea which started after the war.

Brooke wrote: "Would The Secrets We Kept work for option 2? It is inspired by Pasternak and Dr Zhivago."Yep. Looks like it ticks the Boris Pasternak box.

Thank you!
Ed wrote: "Would The Drowned World...a climate fiction (Cli-Fi) book fit for the issue of environmentalism?"Which particular prompt are you thinking of it for? There isn't "environmentalism" per se, that I can see.
Just wondering if this would work for Peter Pan? It is a retelling but not sure if it too far removed.Venom
Thank you!

It looks too far removed to me, from the description.
Hi!Option 2:
For Stranger in a Strange Land...with themes of sexual freedom and liberation, would
work?

Also, having read Down Among the Sticks and Bones, I'm not sure it would fit sexual freedom and liberation anyway. Its more about gender identity, which isn't the same thing.
So I'm afraid this one's a no.

Does this one work for Option 2?
The Entertainment machine: American show business in the twentieth century, by Robert C. Toll
The GR description shows "traces the development of the major electronic media," "the treatment of popular genres in each of the different media, " and "effects of the age of technology on American show business."
I'm mainly looking at this because of the topic "Television" in the song; but I also count at least twenty-six other references to people and subjects related to the whole entertainment field in TV, movies, radio, and music.
