I'm not a librarian, but I saw your post. You can add the cover yourself. You just need to click on "edit details" in your book listing.

No, you're not doing anything wrong. There is a very high volume of requests, and bumping the posts is encouraged if one is missed, because that bumps it back to the forefront.

Also, only Goodreads librarians or Goodreads Authors (to their own books) can add covers. If a regular user adds a book to the database, they can add its cover within that day.
