Hello everyone! My name is Ian, and here are my five facts:

1. I have a beautiful family. My wife, Elizabeth, and I have been married for 2 years, and we have a 6-month old baby who just happens to be the most adorable baby in the world. I’m totally unbiased.

2. I have loved to read my entire life. My fondest memories from my childhood revolve around books. I’m a bit obsessed, to the point where I can be a bit annoying about it sometimes. Especially if it’s a book I am passionate about, I will practically shove it down the throat of anyone that will listen.

3. I love to sing and write music. Pre-baby, I was pretty committed to my music, actually. I even had a blind audition on The Voice, which was pretty wild! I am now the head worship leader at the church I go to, which is such an amazing privilege.

4. I have worked for Starbucks my entire adult life. I started as a barista, and worked my way up to being a Store Manager. This means that I drink an obscene amount of coffee just to feel like I can function at a normal level. It’s cool, though. I can stop whenever.

5. My faith is the most important thing in my life. I feel like so many people get the wrong idea about Christians because of loud idiots that don’t know how to love other people. Because that’s what it’s really about. I don’t want to control anyone else’s decisions, or tell people that what they do is wrong; that’s not my place. I just want to show people the love that I have found, and give them every bit of compassion and acceptance that I can.


Anyway, that’s me in a very small nutshell. Nice to meet you.

Hi! My name is Grace and here are my 5 facts:

1. I am 14 and am in 8th grade

2. I love to read (duh 😂) I typically only read middle grade books, maybe a few YA here and there. My favorite genre by far is fantasy, but mystery is a close second. I may have a bit of an obsession with buying books, and I absolutely just hoard my books, I’m like a book dragon.

3. I love all, any, and every form of art. I draw, paint, sew, crochet, craft, anything you can think of. I’m also really into music and musical theatre. I sing, play piano and ukulele, and take part in school dramas.

4. I. Love. Cats! I have 4 inside cats: Honey, Homer, Mittens, and Pumpkin. I also have about 25-30 outside ‘stray’ cats, that technically aren’t mine, but I feed them and they’re very friendly. I am also very passionate about supporting my local animal shelters and TNR.

5. I’m a very introverted person, and would much prefer to stay at home with my cats and a good book than go out and be social. I also have a lot of social anxieties, so that just fuels my antisocial-ness.

Sorry I wrote a paragraph for each fact, I tried to keep it short but I just can’t help myself 🤷🏻‍♀️. Anyway I’m glad to be a part of this group and can’t wait to get to know you all!

Piano! I play piano also. I've been for about 2 years now- a little more than that. My oldest sister sings. My middle sister play the violin. How long have you been playing ukulele and piano and singing?

The amount of stray cats, or stray pets in general is terrible. Around my home there is lots and I feel so bad for them. They never come around our place because we have dogs. We also have two cats whom we picked up as strays we found hanging around our place. That was before we had three dogs and we just had one who was very good around cats and gentle to them.
