Sure! Even though it's going to be another week before you can actually buy it on Amazon (and a few more before it's in bookstores), you can go here to read all of it online:

or you can listen to 5 free audiobook chapters to tide you over until it's available for order next week. To listen you go here: http://www.ksrkingworth.com

I re-wrote Secret Speakers curled up in bed or on the couch. 2 1/2 years ago while painting the master bedroom, all of a sudden I didn't feel very good. My husband was out of town, and the next day I was so tired that I couldn't get out of bed. Even though the phone was right next to me, I wasn't able to pick it up to call for help.
I lay in bed for the next three or four days until my husband got home. I hadn't eaten all that time. I hadn't been able to get out of bed except to go to the bathroom, when I couldn't hold it anymore. Everything felt foggy.
So long story short, five months later, and just as many months in bed, too tired to eat for days at a time when Patrick was out of town, I went to a specialist. When the nurse tested me she said, "Honey, how have you been living with this level of pain for so long?" I said, "I didn't know I was in pain." I thought it was just normal. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue.
I said, "You've got to be kidding me. I thought that was for hypochondriacs."
Over the last four months, I've lost the important window of time I'd planned on using to focus on promoting Secret Speakers, because I was too tired or in too much pain to even be on the computer. I know it sounds wimpy, but it's true.
And so, putting aside all pride and vanity, I'm asking for your help. What I'm asking is EASY for anyone to do.
I know it will make you feel good, because you'll be doing something kind for another. You'll be accomplishing something worthwhile, because you'll be introducing young adult readers to a story that's worth reading. And your part in the launch takes place online with a few clicks, or with just a few phone calls. There are lots of ways you can help. If you're curious to know more, read the Q & A. Thank you and God bless you.
