Hello everyone. My name is Diana and I (obviously) love to read a lot. Sometimes I need a break from reading just because if I don't then sometimes I feel like books just mash up together in a weird way. I am 15 years old and my gateway book into the book world was The Hunger Games which is my #1 favorite book(yes I'm kind of cliché like that) and my other all time favorite book is the 5th wave. My favorite genre is of course YA Sci fi, but I also like many other YA genres. :)

Hello fellow readers! I'm Heather, a Midwest girl living in Central Illinois. I'm not necessarily new to GR, but have recently started to utilize this site more, mostly to track what I'm reading. I would like to start connecting with other book lovers. I want to challenge myself when it comes to reading, as well as reviewing books and partaking in discussions. I was introduced to this group through GR's August Young Adult Newsletter after reading about Goodreader Heather Chambers. I used to be one of those readers ashamed to say I enjoyed YA books. I'm in my late 20s and was worried about what people would say! Can you believe that? Reading Heather Chambers' GR profile and joining this group has reminded me that I should never feel terrible about reading books I enjoy, and which still contribute to my literacy. I am a Spanish and Literature graduate from a college in Argentina and I occasionally write. I could never get over how awesome my teenage years were and I am an adolescent at heart, which might explain my preference for YA Lit.
