What defines a really good book, from a nice book?

When it comes to good book releases, there are good books, then there are explosive GOOD books. So what is it that sets these two types of books apart?

What are your thoughts on this?

The books you cannot put down.. you don't want to sleep or eat, you just want to read it.. The cover is outstanding and the review of the book is awesome... this is the EXPLOSIVE GOOD book...

the good book, it takes you a week to read.. its good.. but.... it doesn't draw you in from the first sentence ... but it is still good but not great
