Okay, so I found this post on tumblr and I just had to post it here:-
“His features remained impassive, turning vicious, even, as he said, “There is nothing I can give you. Nothing I want to give you. You are not owed an explanation for what I do outside of training. I don’t care what you have been though or what you want to do with your life. The sooner you can sort out your whining and self-pity, the sooner I can be rid of you. You are nothing to me, and I do not care.”
There was a faint ringing in her ears that turned into a roar. And beneath it, a sudden wave of numbness, a too-familiar lack of sight or sound or feeling. She didn’t know why it happened, because she had been so dead set on hating him, but…it would have been nice, she supposed. It would have been nice to have one person who knew the absolute truth about her—and didn’t hate her for it.
It would have been really, really nice.
She walked away without another word. With each step she took back to her room, that flickering light inside of her guttered.
And went out.
///////
“But maybe,” he said, quietly enough that she looked at him again. He didn’t smile, but his eyes were inquisitive. “Maybe we could find the way back together.
He would not apologize for today, or yesterday, or for any of it. And she would not ask him to, not now that she understood that in the weeks she had been looking at him it had been like gazing at a reflection. No wonder she had loathed him.
“I think,” she said, barely more than a whisper, “I would like that very much.”
He held out a hand. “Together, then.”
She studied the scarred, callused palm, then the tattooed face, full of a grim sort of hope. Someone who might—who did understand what it was like to be crippled at your very core, someone who was still climbing inch by inch out of that abyss.
Perhaps they would never get out of it, perhaps they would never be whole again, but… “Together,” she said, and took his outstretched hand.
And somewhere far and deep inside her, an ember began to glow.”

Guys. GUYS. THIS IS THE BEST THING EVER.

Ik!! It's such a touching moment between them I love it
Look at This Interview
Indulge me, if you will, with a little more information about Rowan, the silver-haired Fae warrior who spends a good part of this book making Celaena's life miserable. (Honestly, I adore him so much I'm not even sure what I want to ask, other than the obvious and possibly spoiler-leading questions about his future in the series!) I know it's early, but from reader feedback so far, do you see any allegiances forming — or shifting — concerning the other male characters in the book since Rowan's introduction?
Sarah: Oh, Rowan. My silver-haired warrior-prince. You are definitely not alone in adoring him — and I've been pleasantly surprised by how many people have, erm, jumped ship and embraced Team Rowan. But, yes: Rowan seems to be a very popular character these days, and it's so, so wonderful that readers love him as much as I do.

I don't know. I love Chaol but he kind of lost his spark in HoF, and I know it's because he and Celaena didn't spend any time together at all. And I liked the intimate moments Aelin and Rowan shared together. Honestly I think Rowan is Sarah's best written character so far.
He just totally brought her back to her badass, deadly self! And just, those scenes where he kinda tore her apart without realizing what she'd been through, and then he saw her scars and just went crazy. I so fell in looooooooove with him then.Does anyone remember that scene where he pushed her into the river? That was just the most amazing and dreamy moment ever. They were playing and running and he is FAE and BAE. Like how could you not want him to be her husband? They are of the same species, even! Seriously, and not to be crude, but how would children work out between her and Chaol?

And when he was fussing over her after her burn out thing! I just love him <3
I'm sure I will love every scene with Aelin and Rowan... But you can be sure... Sarah will have to do an overwhelming effort to makes me overcame this:"I claim you too, Aelin Galanthynius to whatever end"
Really I'm a book's lover and I have never ever loved a quote as much as this one.
I Pre-Ordered

I think maybe Aelin's heart has been broken so many times that she will just want to be friends. But it couldn't be a very *deep* friendship. LOL

It's True o.0
I was clicking around on Youtube and stumbled across an interview with Sarah J. Maas in which she stated that Caleana "has chosen at this point" (referring to Queen of Shadows).
Something that I noticed that is too huge to just be a coincidence is how Rowan smells like pine and snow. Celeana in the novellas described Terrasen as smelling like pine and snow. Now what REALLY threw me over the edge is Rowan's physical description. He has silver hair with pine green eyes. Ummm... Terrasen's royal colors are green and silver. Whaaaaatttt. Did Sarah intend all of that!?

I Know Right?
I Know Right?
Sarah J. Maas confirmed on her Twitter account that "carranam" is a play on the Gaelic term "mo anam cara" (which means 'soul mate'). ;)
Owww I know... Like somebody said before, Rowan is a living remainder of her real home. Remember when she said that Chaol makes her feel in home...Guess what? Rowan IS her home
Guys oh my god oh my god what if ROWAN takes the Fae throne and AELIN is his bride and queen!!!!!!!!
Grace Meredith wrote: "Guys oh my god oh my god what if ROWAN takes the Fae throne and AELIN is his bride and queen!!!!!!!!"Yea kill Maeve! woo-hoo
Grace Meredith wrote: "Guys oh my god oh my god what if ROWAN takes the Fae throne and AELIN is his bride and queen!!!!!!!!"Damn that would actually be sooooooooo AWESOME!!!! :D
Omg! I think exactly the same. As far as I see in pinterest, the cadre will be with him, and I don't see any other way of get them free but killing Meave
I think Maeve will be the final bad villain of the series. But I don't think she's going to die. She's too important. I mean Queen of the Fae and all
Grace Meredith wrote: "Guys oh my god oh my god what if ROWAN takes the Fae throne and AELIN is his bride and queen!!!!!!!!"I would loooove that!! Want these two to be together so bad and I think they are perfect for each other.
Agreed! 100%

I mean that would just be the BESSSSST! He is so ready to be a king, he's so responsible and everything, and he's fricking bound to her blood.
As far as Maeve goes… I actually kinda like her. Maybe she could end up with Dorain??? I dunno.
“Please,” Celaena whispered. There was a crack, and the world fragmented as Rowan bowed when the whip sliced into his back. He gritted his teeth, hissing, but did not cry out.“Please,” Celaena said. Gavriel sent his whip flying so fast Rowan had only a breath to recover. There was no remorse on Gavriel’s lovely face, no sign of the male she’d thanked weeks ago.
Across the veranda, Maeve said, “How long this lasts depends entirely on you, niece.”
Celaena did not dare drag her gaze away from Rowan, who took the whipping as if he had done this before—as if he knew how to pace himself and how much pain to expect. His friends’ eyes were dead, as if they, too, had given and received this manner of punishment.
Maeve had harmed Rowan before. How many of his scars had she given him? “Stop it,” Celaena growled.
“Not for all the world, Aelin? But what about for Prince Rowan?”
Another strike, and blood was on the stones. And the sound—that sound of the whip . . . the sound that echoed in her nightmares, the sound that made her blood run cold
I don't know about you but I don't want this evil chick to end up with our caring little Dorian lol

Please, imagine!!!! Rowan with a baby girl... He's gonna be soo soo soo overprotective that he'll break my heart! I like this idea just cause Aelin and Rowan need a second chance for mate, and he for being a father.
Oh my god Rowan as a father would be so dang cute though. Like he would be so protective I love it already
Hailey wrote: "Oh my god Rowan as a father would be so dang cute though. Like he would be so protective I love it already"Yesssss omg it would be soooooo beautiful n cute :D
I love Rowan, and I hope she chooses him, but if not I'm hoping she chooses Gavriel (from Rowan's Cadre), just because they sound like they have chemistry, in Heir of Fire.
I had no idea that QOS was the book that Celaena "chose" in! This has made me all the more anxious to get my hands on it! From the way that Heir of Fire ended, I struggle to see how she would reunite with Rowan...but I'm definitely not against her choosing him!
