I really enjoyed the discussion on God being outside of time and how it helps us understand how he can handle millions of prayer requests coming at him all at the same “time”. But this chapter on time also can make your head blow up trying to process an infinite God with a finite mind!

The Good Infection chapter really did a great job of explaining the relationship between God the Father and God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. I loved the last couple of pages of how we fit into that relationship and how we can share a life with the Begotten in the process of salvation! I would love to hear your thoughts on this chapter….

I thought the Two Notes section was pretty self-explanatory and not really much to add to those writings. Please feel free to share if something in that chapter jumped off the page at you.

Donna Breedlove  | 5 comments Sorry to have missed the past few weeks of discussion. A grandchild misplaced my book. :) Ordered another and then found the first. Caught up on my reading and enjoyed reading the previous comments.

This week was enjoyable! I agree the first chapter could blow your mind to try and ‘figure out’ God and His time.

My favorite part for this week was his point about ‘God is love’. ‘Love is something that one person has for another’. God’s love is like no other love we have ever or will ever experience in an earthly understanding. The Trinity moves and flows in that love to us and through us!! This blows my mind, too. His love can be in every part of us and our lives.

This morning my devotion had the following verse which pretty much sums up my hope:

Ephesians 3:20-21

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work WITHIN us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.
