While I do agree with Raskolnikoff in him not liking Peter (I hope his sister does not marry him!) I am starting to feel like Raskolnikoff is too cocky with all his theorizing to the police. It’s like they’re starting to get suspicious and he’s taunting them! Once again, I think that subconsciously he wants to get caught.

Jacinta | 70 comments It seems like he can't decide...he's constantly, actively trying to decide whether to confess. I really liked the passage about the man with a square foot of cliff to live on - I thought that was an amazing analogy and a great way to understand Raskolnikov's restricted way of "living" after the crime.
