I like that this approach is unique and I think its cute but I'm not sure yet whether or not I'm in love with it. (hide spoiler)]

This read more like a long preface to me but I'm glad we are in the nitty gritty now. Its just lacking something for me.. something deep that I can't quite put my finger on. I'm not a huge fan of the dialogue.. some of it seems a little pointless. Also I was kind of expecting us to get to know our pack as well as what we were capable of in this book and so far its just dragging out. (hide spoiler)]

Can't remember her name but sounds like there is a story there. I still feel like there is some things missing here, the whole thing is just so vague story line wise its hard to figure out what is going on. The characters are still on the superficial side as well as missing some relationship chemistry on a deeper level than just physical. Despite all that I still really want to know what the heck is going on... I just hope it doesn't take a million books to find out. (hide spoiler)]

But what I am also confused about is why Carter and the other guys stay in wolf form all the time and only Ian lives mostly as a human? Seems like they would be in more danger from Hunters in wolf form, no??
Oh, and when are we going to get to the RH part? I mean Ian is cute and sexy and all, but let's get moving! (hide spoiler)]
Ch 15 (78%) - Whaaaaa??? (view spoiler)[ So is Carter the bad guy? I didn't get that from the flashbacks she just had, but the way Reika fell asleep right before she found him is super fishy. (hide spoiler)]
Finished - (view spoiler)[ Kind of a lame way to bond to all of them, but whatever. At least maybe when she wakes up in book 2, she will start "sharing" her time with them.

I didn't like how all the reveals happened at the last minute in the book. It felt like the author was like, "Oh crap, I'm almost to 300 pages, I guess I better tell everyone's secrets in one chapter so I can set things up for book 2." That kind of thing bugs me.

And yet, I'm still really confused about what is going on in this world. First, if Carter and his endangered friends are the most powerful wolves, then why aren't they in charge. If Rogan was the one that ordered her parent's/aunt & uncle's murders, how did he not put two and two together when a bloody six-year-old showed up at the sanctuary the same night. Why didn't he kill her then? And I still don't understand her purpose in all this or the dagger's powers.

I plan on giving it another book. I like the characters, I just don't like how messy the plot has been so far. (hide spoiler)]

It's obvious her imaginary friend is her inner wolf and I can't wait to see when she finally changes. Also she seems to have some power as with how she bopped Carter on the nose and he listened. Maybe that's where the title comes into play?!?!?!? (hide spoiler)]

I almost feel bad for Harper who has no idea her role in the world and what the moon has in store for her. I man no pressure saving all shifter kind and the different species lol. Harper and the rest of the guys are being trained by Kira and we're not seeing much of it. After an extremely boring read that last 20% went berserk and not only does she get amnesia, Carter possibly dies and ooh wait she’s rescued by a surprise Royal Mate. So she now has what 7 mates? I can barely keep track of the ones she does have but sure let’s add another one smh. And this series (1-4) come to find out is only part one in an overall series if that makes sense. Will it never end, don’t think I care enough to go on (hide spoiler)]

My interest in these books is starting to wane. I'm beginning to think it is this particular author's style. Crystal, Tiera - is book 3 really worth it?

Honestly, (view spoiler)[ Though there are finally some reveals in book 3 I feel like you'll end more frustrated than when you went in.. The story is headed off on a side road so it may be several books before we get back to anything.. by then we will probably have forgotten what this story was even originally about.. so maybe just save yourself lol.. We could use this series as filler if we run out of series books for Nov/Dec if we needed to since they are short and we are just about at a point where we would get those high bonus points but yea.. do with all that what you will lol. Honestly I am over these books after the third one. And as of now there’s no end in sight. When this series end in book four it continues into a new series, all the same characters.
