I like POTO stage version MUCH better the ST stage version

message 20: by Hope (new)

 Hope hmmm... confused...

message 21: by Casey (last edited Sep 20, 2009 12:08PM) (new)

Casey the stage version, like not a movie

message 22: by Hope (new)

Hope oh, ok... well I'm not sure what Raoul looks like in the old version, but he does kinda look like a girl in the new one... the new one is the one with Emmy Rossum and Gerard Butler, made in 2004

message 23: by Allie (new)

Allie (pearlrose95) | 40 comments I liked the stage version better than the movie as well, mostly because I was lucky enough to see it on Broadway, and the guy who played phantom had seriously the most amazing voice ever, even better than Micheal Crawford, from what I've heard from the original phantom cd, though he's still amazing. But I think the movie is really really good too, gerard butler's voice suits the phantom with it's kinda rockiness, and to quote my friend, "he goes from total badass to a freaking beautiful and messed up phantom"

message 24: by Hope (new)

 Hope who?

message 25: by Allie (new)

Allie (pearlrose95) | 40 comments My friend? Or gerard butler?
